much better than renting forever from ISP, it has better features as well. im glade i switched. and its plug and play no need for crazy settings you might think. just download their app on your phone.

I successfully connected and set up my new router/modem. Both internet provider, Netgear, and home security company helped me get it all set up. It's a difference day with the technology. Smart TV, printer, phones, etc. Now that they are all talking nicely together I am very pleased with the product.

Replaced Comcast modem-router By Matt from TN After years of procrastinating getting rid of phone and cable , I discontinued these services and kept Xfinity Connect More plan. Installation was not hard after installing the Netgear Nighthawk app and calling Xfinity (1-800-COMCAST) and working with their phone support(very nice lady-not from around here). I thought something was wrong with my service when finished with Xfinity, but then needed to go back to Netgear Nighthawk app and complete the connection and then change all devices to the 5G band. After installation the 200 speed internet in the less expensive Xfinity service was much faster than my old service. I can still change to speeds up to 800-1000 with this modem-router and a different Xfinity plan.

It's Easy to set up and fast gets the job done. Happy with my purchase.

Set up was very easy and it is working well. It was easy to use WPS to connect it to a Netgear extender. It covers my three story house with a strong signal and the extender covers the detached office.

I purchased this modem/router combo to upgrade the Motorola SB I had for 7 years because it could no longer handle the new speeds from Xfinity or all the wifi devices in my home. It was very simple to install and we had everything connected and up and running in no time. The range is excellent and provides great coverage in the yard and the street.

wanted to upgrade my router because our other one was pushing 6-7 years old and we were starting to see performance issues. Great decision and upgrade. easy to connect and get started and have amazing wire connected and wifi speeds. I always recommend buying your own vs renting from the service provider it pays for itself.

Does a great job for the price, so far no problems

One of the easiest setups I have done. I handed xfinity back their equipment and installed this. With several coupons and rebates and price match so feel I did very well. It is fast and works with an extender for whole house range too. I would buy Mesh router next, but wasnt available.

Huge improvement over our last cable modem. It's fast, all the features actually work. Our last modem had parent control features that didn't work. I haven't had to reboot this modem often either, much more reliable.

Works good. Has a good range, no lagging in the basement or second floor.

Easy peezy Very easy to set up. Works very well and I am getting the speeds that I pay for.

Working fine so far. We like the 2 different channel bands - the 5Ghz for fast/closer and the 2.4 Ghz for farther away. Also the guest networks. We bought the BestBuy plan since it seems these modem/routers don't last 11 years like my old Motorola Surfboard that just broke on me. Works MUCH better than the Netgear Orbi AX4200 we started with and took back (that only got up to 30mbs).

This nighthawk modem it’s pretty good and fast. The cable company always wants you to use their modem, because they can get into it probably whenever they want and they get an extra $10-$15 a month extra. My last NightHawk lasted almost 10 years and I’m hoping this one will do the same.

I recently purchased the NETGEAR Nighthawk AX2700 WiFi Cable Modem Router. It's great! Very fast and was easy to install.

This modem is fast with wifi and cable connect. Very east to set up and use and love the app.
