I was using a 3.0 DOCSIS cable modem w/a Nighthawk router. My cable company bumped me up to 250mb from 150mb at no extra charge, I just had to reboot my modem. After several reboots and still only getting 150'ishmb, I called tech support who said my equipment was outdated. I really didn't believe them, so I bought the Nighthawk modem/router combo just to expect to get the same download....WOW, was I wrong. After getting the AX2700 up/running, Speedtest.net had me getting up to 500mb speeds. It's a good looking unit, plus I like one less item taking room on my desk (the router.) WIFI interface w/my home network is nice strong signal. I'm used to external antennas so I thought it maybe limited. Only 1 usb port, but I don't really use Ready Share all that much anyway. Hopefully I can get more than a couple years before I have to upgrade again.

Although it is expensive, if you buy now you are future proofing your network since it’s the newest technology for your internet. Easy to setup with an app that lets you easily monitor device, check your speed, and check for any issues. I highly recommend. Works for Xfinity.

I live in a 3 floor home, I installed this right next to the garage and I dont have problem for streaming 8k content on the 3rd floor meanwhile my family are connected with their own devices. The nighthawk software is a good app for connectivity security.

I bought the CAX30S because I upgraded my internet. I dread setting up routers but the Nighthawk app made it EXTREMELY easy. Once everything was set up I did a speed test both on the app and through a third party and the results were more than satisfactory

Setup was easy, works really well. Just hate calling my provider to finish setting it up.

Easy setup and very fast speeds. Since my house is 3 floors I added a Netgear wifi extender. Input line is 500mb and all 5G wifi is at least 380mb in every room.

I have been using Xfinity rented modem for a while and then decided to switch Netgear Nighthawk as I have previously used netgear few years ago . This nighthawk definitely had kept me awe struck with its super easy setup and highly fast data transmission. I use Xfinity 600mbps plan, anytime I check my speed now with Nighthawk modem I always get 500 mbps speed which is super awesome . Only once it went offline and had to restart it and it come back online. Other than that I’m super happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to this to anyone.

This thing saved the day. I’ve gone through a few different modems and routers. Before wising up. First I had dedicated modems and routers and honestly had no idea they weren’t meant to last too long. I decided to do the all in one combo and with the first two brands and types I tried before this one it was looking to be a failure. However, I bought this one and it worked with my provider (Comcast) almost instantly. I haven’t experienced any dropouts like before and nothing being kicked or booted off. Everything is running smoothly for me now. Worth the money I paid. Thanks NETGEAR.

Great router, simple setup Our download and upload speeds both improved significantly over our prior modem / router, which was our objective. Setup was simple and took just about 15 minutes. No issues at all. Overall very pleased.

The NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX2700 router has turned out to be a solid performing router, and the perfect compliment to our upgraded internet speed. When I began working from home, our old Arris router and internet package didn't have enough speed for remote working. When we tied to upgrade the speed though our internet provider, they indicated that our old modem and router package was not capable of the increased speeds. The Netgear Nighthawk AX2700 router/modem combination had specifications that exceeded our requirements, and looked like a good fit. Yes, it was a bit expensive, but this combination has been working perfectly. No lag, even when we are all doing things that would slow our old system to a crawl. With up to 7 devices connected, there hasn't been an issue. The massive speed increase has ben awesome, but we are also enjoying zero disconnects.

Great unit, good coverage, but it is a little pricey. The manual could be more detailed. Had a lot of trouble trying to use Netgear's control app. Finally gave up and did all programing at the unit.

This is the second one I bought. This unit is installed in a relatives house which is about 2,200 sq ft and was placed in the middle of the house. Coverage has been great. Installation was a breeze through the app and so far no issues have come up. If you need a cable modem/router this is a good one.

Great product. Once installed made all connected devices work much better. When installing Nighthawk Xfinity said we could not use this device because it was already used. In their system.. The Netgear. Rep got on the phone with me and Xfinity and told them it was new and never been used. Idiots at Xfinity suggested I return it. After 4 calls to Xfinity and over 5 hours they were finally able to add it to their system. Would have been extremely easy to setup if it were not for the numb skulls at Xfinity.

Replaced a Nighthawk AC1900 router and NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem with the AX2700 Router/Modem because I was getting less than 100MB speed with a 300MB plan with wireless losing connectivity on a regular basis. Upon easy self installation speed increased to nearly 400MB on the same cable plan. Wireless range greatly improved as well. I was able to stop using wireless range extender.
