Used this to replace a modem router from a different brand that just kept crashing. This NETGEAR modem router is amazing. No issues whatsoever and easy to setup.

Our last two routers were Motorola and each only lasted about 2 years. We decided to upgrade and go for a we thought would be a much better option and so far, we have not been disappointed. The signal is strong enough to reach the office upstairs and it is strong enough for online meetings and video streaming without a signal extender. We also live in an older house and the walls tend to interfere with the signal but the range and strength of this router's signal is definitely not impacted as much as our previous routers. The app (free) for managing the router is also really nice and easy to use with a lot of features that make managing the router pretty much hassle free. We would definitely recommend this router!

The setup and operation of the cable modem is exactly what you would expect from Netgear, flawless and easy. Cox incorrectly told me my Surfboard cable modem wasn't working properly, but when their line signal jumped to over 16mvdb I feared they may have damaged it and used this as an excuse to get a better unit. I also love the Nighthawk app, it is much easier to use than the Surfboard app. Happy all around, just wish I lived in an area where Cox isn't the only provider.

I am writing a review after using this equipment for more that a year! At first, it was giving so lany issues, it would reboot on its on, cut the connection randomly during a day and sometime internet would drop. And no matter what i did, never were able to figure out the issue. That’s until half yeat ago lol it’s going to sound dump so i hope this helps someone along the way here! Things I discovered little by little after many troubleshooting: alway be sure to update firmware through the app, use the original power cable it came with to power the device, plug the power cable on a stand along surge protector or stright to the wall. These things will save you so much headache a lonf the way trust me. All this time the random reboot was caused because my surge protector was overwhelmed and didn’t have enough power for the device to run consistently. Also i was using my old modem power cable so i made aire to use the one came with the both to get the right amount of votls transmitted. Also, if you game a lot, just please use ethernet connection. Wi-Fi depending on where you machine is at home, may fluctuate in data rate being delivered. You will have interruptions based on what type of device you own.

Great modem/router. Quick and easy installation. We were up and running in 10 to 15 minutes (including activation). The Nighthawk AX2700 delivers what it claims.

Been pretty content with this product so far. It’s worked great! And I can finally use my PlayStation portal with this thing! Couldn’t before with the previous router/modem due to lag. Very happy with this purchase!

This is my NETGEAR modem, replacing a similar modem that I've owned for many years to stream Xfinity Stream, etc. Unfortunately, after moving to a new location and upgrading to this one , I have had many network crashes. I believe it is an Xfinity issue. Recently I agreed to test an Xfinity Modem to compare. The number of outages have diminished but still occur. I am still testing.
