Got the AX2700 thinking high speed, good coverage, reliable brand.... WRONG. It *usually* works. Turns out the modem doesnt work with with Xfinity..... Mfg tech support says it's on Xfinity's side. By the time I discovered the AX2700 doesnt work well on Xfinity, I was unable to return. You only get 90 Mfg support then they expect you to pay. Netgear use to have a great Reputation. Now, I dont think I will ever support them again. They advertise "Xfinity" on the box, but it's a known error that they dont play well together. Now I'm stuck and cant return it.

My internet was not reaching upstairs to the back of my house. I purchased an extender with no luck. I didn't know if it was the service or if I should try a new modem router with more square footage range. I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk from Bestbuy and I must say the customer service was superb. The rep gave me all my options and explained, in detail, why I should give this product a try. It was an easy set-up and fixed my internet range issues as soon as it was set-up. Not only can I get internet in every room, it's the highest quality.

Twice the price of a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. Router is Wi-Fi 6 when 7 is the new one. Meh. I think I should have gone with a $200 option instead of a $379 one.

Set up took less than 10 mins and is up and running. Speed increased dramatically from our old modem. Will definitely recommend.
