This was purchased December 2021. The problems started happening December 2022. It constantly drops the 5ghz band. Which is the one we use for streaming on an Apple TV4k. Calls to Comcast/Xfinity were no help as they know there is an issue with these particular Netgear modem/router combos. There are several forums on this.It is a firmware issue. Unfortunately I just found out about them. So now we have to call Netgear support to see if they can help. My husband will have to do the calling. Definitely not looking forward to that! If we can get this resolved I will revise this review. For now, I cannot recommend this product.

I bought this to replace a Motorola unit that stopped working properly about 3 months after I bought it. The set-up with Xfinity/Comcast was a little longer than the previous unit, but it has been working flawlessly since purchase 6 weeks ago. The 5G network covers my 1500 sf apartment very well.

Expensive but you get what you pay for. Fairly easy to set up (although I hate calling Comcast) and has a wonderful app for the phone to get you set up.
