This piece of equipment was recommended by Xfinity service technician and I was able to get it the next day after purchasing it online.

I upgraded from a separate Netgear modem and router setup to this Netgear Cable Modem combo because my network was dropping frequently. The new one was easy to setup and I haven't had a drop since I installed it.

Just installed. More work than just plug and play but after navigating through both Xfinity and Netgear seems to have a good range and handle multiple devices well - recommend

Good out of the box, 3 months later a dead brick. Drops devices all the time, I have to continually set up devices again. Will go back to Cox and use their equipment. At least theirs was somewhat reliable, I do not have the time to devote to doing nothing but internet policing....

I haven't had a lot of time to really use the products yet. I can say that it was a nightmare to set up and I would not wish it upon my worst enemy to do it again.

This modem is the real deal! I was skeptical before, since I haven’t had the best experience with Betgear products. This modem/router has exceeded and STILL exceeds my expectations. Worth the money 100 percent

A year ago our Netgear Router appeared to be going out. It constantly dropped off from Xfinity and could not be reached. After following all Netgear recommendations we bought a newer version. This year in July it did the same thing. We thought it might be due to an outage so got this one. It worked for a month and a half and did the same thing. Our devices said we had wifi but it wasn’t there and Xfinity could not reach out. Come to find out that Netgear did a firmware upgrade that pretty much made it incompatible with Xfinity. After going through support to fix, I gave it up and just got an Xfinity wifi router again. Customers should not have to go through huge attempts at fixes on a new product because the firmware is bad. We should not have to figure out how to repair this ourselves. The thing should just work. That is why we pay a lot for Netgear devices. If I needed to be a software engineer to operate a wifi modem then I really do not want that modem. The Xfinity router is doing just fine now and I am very disappointed as the product is a month out of being returnable. Shame on you Netgear.

So far so good! Sometimes in an adjacent room,the streaming may be interrupted for a short while. Other than that I have had no issues

I have had nothing but problems with this router/modem combo. My internet speeds have been horrible and I have talked to tech support and nothing has been helpful. I pay for 1GBPS speeds from Xfinity and I only get around 400MBPS, with the router/modem I had from Xfinity gave me around 1.1GBPS so I'm absolutely furious about this entire thing.

Great product, If your home is over 3,000 sq ft you’ll need to get extenders because our signal upstairs isn’t as strong.

If you have comcast for interent, do not buy these modems! Your internet will be cutting out all the time a week after purchasing. I just found out comcast doesn’t charge to rent their modems anymore, so I got one of those and now my interent works all the time now. Amazing what junk theae modems are now
