Powerful dual band router/modem combo reaches all the dead spots in our 2-story house (2k sq ft). Set up was pretty easy, app tracks all devices and shows which band is allocated and wifi strength. Old security cameras needed a power reboot to connect but work fine. Noticeable wifi speed boost. $$$ but worth it.

Fast and of good quality so i own so that my internet doesn't slow will othets that have low capacity is easy to use or setup I own and manage my own device where ever i am going i can travel or transfer with it no problem of depending on a particular internet provider i use any provider with it

A little expensive for a 2 in 1 router combo, but it was super simple to setup and once it's done it's easy to let it sit and forget it.

Works Great! Replaced an outdated Router and the 5pectrum modem rental. Modem rental savings pays for this device in less than 6 months. Remember to register the device with your internet provider in order to complete the change-over. Sales Associates Dave and Eduardo were especially helpful.

Complete protection and information. Reported frequent DoS attacks and blocked them all. I can only imagine why this was happening, but I felt way more secure knowing this was taken care of. The generative security reports are awesome. Yes it’s a bit pricey but you get so much bang for your buck. Thanks Best Buy for having such a great product available

I recently upgraded from the AC1900 to this one after 5 years. Netgear has always been my go-to for network equipment in my home and this did not disappoint. My old router was starting to struggle to keep up with more devices being added as my kids have grown up and gotten their own. This handles our 10 devices with ease. Having the DOCSIS 3.1 modem built in also means I was able to upgrade our speed to a multi-gig plan. With the higher speeds and the AX specification, our network has never been faster. I would definitely recommend this product for families who want to keep things fast with reliable connections.

Upgraded my internet to 1GB download so I had to upgrade my modem/router. This was my pick. It was fast and easy to install. The app is easy to use. The wifi is fast and there aren’t any dead zones anymore. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased this router/modem to replace my old Netgear router/modem, which was nine years old. So far, I've encountered no major issues, aside from a minor connection hiccup that was mostly due to operator error. The most noticeable improvement over my old router is the streaming quality. The setup process was straightforward. I accessed the router by entering routerlogin.net, 192.168.0.1, or 192.168.1.0 into my web browser. The Spectrum website appeared during setup, where I had to enter the MAC address. It then offered an option to create an account or download an app for easy access and control, which was a very straightforward process. However, I once forgot a character when creating the password, but a call to customer service resolved the issue. The customer service experience was excellent, with the agent going the extra mile to help me set up. The quality of service has been great, especially for using internet phone/video services to contact family overseas. This router displays a unique password on the device itself, enhancing security. There's no need to disable Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol and assign static addresses to your devices with this router. It offers an open VPN option. I wouldn't recommend purchasing the cheapest modem available, as it could lead to compromised speeds and security. For your setup, you won't need a switch, as this router/modem combo already functions effectively as one. Overall, this device is easy to set up and works well. While it may lack some advanced features found in routers like Juniper, I believe the price is fair considering its performance. I would definitely recommend it.

Super easy to set up. I have cox internet and did have to call them at one point to register the modem number. It was 1130 pm but i was able to speak with a representative. I followed all the instructions and in no time i was enjoying super fast speeds. I like the ease of having both the modern and router in a single combo less cords. And the netgear app allows you to check the internet speed easily. And control it with guests or children all through the app. Should have bought one sooner

I bought this to reduce the amount of equipment and improve my home internet speed. With all the devices I have running, I needed an extra bump in gig speed. Easy to setup, follow the given instructions, and contact your ISP to register the MAC. No complaints and will continue to buy NetGear products!

Great speeds when paired with Xfinity service. I can't complain and I no longer have service drops or even signal drops

Upgraded to this unit after using spectrums equipment. Instant improvement in coverage and speed inclduing reliability highly recommended.
