Worked great at first but then kept loosing connection, then completely died after only about 4months.

Netgear Nighthawk bad choice

Tried to replace a Nighthawk router that stopped working 2 weeks after 1 year warranty. Bought a replacement Nighthawk and even with Netgear pro support they couldn't get it to work. Can't recommend the product .

After being on the phone from Tech support from both my ISP and Netgear for five HOURS, they have decided the unit is defecting out of the box. Hopefully I can exchange it for something that actually works.

Crashes all the time. Had this product 2 months and it has stopped working 3 times. Spent over 10 hours with customer support.

Bad Best Buy purchase

Within 6 months of use, this device completely failed. The Netgear support was unable to help and the device wasn't returnable per Best Buy

Frustration2.0!!!! Not easy to install!

From Day 1 of installation, there has been so much problems. I bought this Router combo per my research, to add to my gigabit service from cox. The router has been dropping connectivity randomly per day! Pure frustration! I called the 1800 and per their instructions, we troubleshooted the router and it worked perfectly and the speeds were among 900ish! 2 days later! (With NO changes) the signals dropped and now I’m lucky to get 130mb per sec! I’ll be calling the support number on Monday! I’m disappointed!

Not really worth it

First one only lasted 6 months before it quit. Was a huge hassle getting it replaced under warranty from Netgear. Second one is so far so good. Setup is ok, takes a long time for it to reboot and get fully up and running. When up and ok, the speeds are good, both LAN and WiFi. The range is also pretty good. The app is complete trash and nearly useless. Likely the last Netgear product I ever purchase.

As soon as you've had this router for 1 year it stops working, and netgear forces you to pay 180 dollars a year for " tech support " to get it working again.

After 4months the router stoped provide the WiFi signal, contact Netgear support service and take more than 4 weeks back and forth and close my case without solve the problem.

Slow and stopped working

Would slow down after 1 day and needed a restart each day. Stopped working out of no where. I switched out the router and my old one worked perfectly.
