Great product increase my Internet speed while gaming no complaints Definitely worth the price

I bought this router May 2023 (less than 2 yrs ago). It was great up until today, when the number lights (#1-#4) came on and everything else went dark. It just stopped working! No power surge or outage, no lighting, nothing it just stopped working. I called and they promptly informed me that i should have bought the warranty. She said it was a hardware issue and while many of their devices work for 5 years, this one just didn't. So if you need a router for a short time, this one is great. If you need a router for more than 2 years, maybe shop around.

Love the new TV! So far never had any problems with it.

Great quality modem/router. I heard that Netgear was one of the best brands of networking equipment and it turns out to be true. As long as you know your service provider, your desired download speeds, and research the compatibility of the Netgear products, then you will probably find the perfect one like I did.

So far so good ,it,s only been a couple of days. It seems to be a little stronger than our last router/modem.

We love this! Now, Cox didn't support it. We bought it for Cox 2g, then they said it wouldn't work. We would needed to buy theirs. However, once they let us use it, it will be suitable for 2g.

Selected this to eliminate my cable mode, It seems like it is preforming as expected. I live in 2200 sq ft mobile home and had trouble with wi-fi in the back bed room not reaching the front room. Now I don't have an issue.

This is an okay router for its price, but its advance features do not work. The user can not block sites or set schedule on it even though it says that it has that option.

I liked the design and features when I purchased this modem in Sep 2021. Never really encountered any issues until recently. Came home from work to no wifi, figured modem needed a restart. Restarted modem multiple times, and didnt see any of the lights flashing like they normally would when it would reboot. The reset button on the back didnt work at all. The “1 2 3 4” lights for the ethernet ports would stay on solid every time i would restart the modem. Looked up the symptoms for this issue, and from what I found from the “Netgear Experts” is the unit is just done. A month prior to this happening, I experienced something similar to this. Yet the modem lights flashed as they would on a normal reboot. Took me roughly an hour to get the internet back up, no outages in my area whatsoever. barely over 2 years after purchasing, this thing is done. Replaced with an Arris, wasnt paying netgear $300+ for another piece of junk.

Installed fast and easy. Provides whole house wi-fi, great for my smart tv when streaming movies.

Simple way to future proof your connections in the house. Cax30 model is more casual then cax80 unless you have army in your house and higher chances that more streaming is happening at the same time (6 vs 8 constant streams).

Ditched the Xfinity equipment for the Nighthawk and couldn't be happier with the speed and reliability!!!

After upgrading from an old Arris Surfboard SBG6580, this router vastly improved throughput speed and now everything loads in faster and streaming video is smoother than before!!!!

Would recommend. Using for multiple devices it was a bit of a hassle getting all reconnected after exchange. Once things got connected signal stable and have no problems.

DO NOT BUY!!! We bought this router 1 year and 1 month ago for $350 and today we had a minor power outage (that we didn’t even notice) but the router completely lost power to it. The part of the cord that goes into the router does have power coming to it but the router doesn’t turn on. We had this issue twice already. When we bought it the first time it stopped working in a couple of days so we thought it was a defect and just replaced it (also we installed power surge protection outlet just in case). Today it happened again and when I called to customer support they said they can help me troubleshoot it but if troubleshooting will help they will charge me $160 for 2 years customer support service. They also said that because it’s 1 year over hardware warranty they will not do anything about it and I need to go and buy another $350 router. I am never buying anything Netgear in my life again and posting this review everywhere under this product!
