Needed to beef up the MPBs for my gf and I to handle constant video calls each day. After getting a speed increase from our provider I did some research on new routers. ran through several YouTube reviews and settled on this bad boy. router is slight overkill for the two of us, but wow am I happy with the performance. The LED indicators for the ethernet ports and for both bands of wifi are color coded to show signal strength. Orange is decent, white is fast. So you can visually see if there are dips in speed just be looking at the router.
Kinda makes me wish we needed a 1TB speed to see what this router can do.

I was looking for a replacement router/modem that would broadcast a stronger signal in my house and pick up more speed in downloading and general operation. The NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX6000 checked all of my boxes!
I'm very pleased and would have no problem recommending this model to my friends & others.

My previous router was outdated and not able to handle the gig speeds xfinity was giving me. After the quick and easy install/setup I immediately saw my speeds increase. I have never been more satisfied with a large purchase than I am with this. My entire house is now covered and the Netgear app is hassle free as well. MUST BUT.

Easy to start up. I really enjoy the nighthawk app. I get service throughout my entire apartment with very fast upload and download speeds to support all of my gaming.

I’ve been using the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX80 for a while now, and it has performed flawlessly. The setup was quick and straightforward, and the connection is strong and consistent throughout the house. The WiFi 6 technology makes a noticeable difference in speed and stability, especially when multiple devices are connected.
I appreciate having the modem and router in one unit — it saves space and reduces cable clutter. Streaming, video calls, and gaming all run smoothly with no dropouts. The design is sleek and modern, and the Nighthawk app makes it easy to monitor and manage the network.
The only thing I would mention is that it’s a bit on the pricey side, but considering the performance and reliability, I think it’s worth it.

Purchased this modem as I took a basic cybersecurity class to find out my xfinity modem was failing a scan because it would respond to a ping. I also wanted all my devices like Ring doorbell, petcube, phones and tv’s to be behind a vpn so this Modem/router combo does this and passes the vulnerability scan. It’s a winner!

I have owned a netgear modem few years ago, the cable company wanted to start charging for their modem so i got myself the CAX80. I had to call the cable company for part of the setup, it took around 3 hrs in all, so not the quickest for me. Its been running for a few days now, speedtest results are off the charts amazing, beyond my expectations . The range is much better than earlier modems , i have ever owned. Everything works well with this router, my garage door opener didnt remain connected so i added an old wifi range extender in the garage , and that seems to be working good now. Overall after everything has been setup, its stable and i am pleased with my purchase, totally recommend it to everyone!

Only had it operational 2 weeks now, however it is operating as described and was simple to install once I contacted my internet provider. Documentation for install and settings were not included so you pretty much have to figure it out on your own if you have some basic knowledge of modems. I did find a manual online at the product website and the NightHawk App is basic with no way of tweaking the modem or changing settings. The NightHawk is not to big and front panel display and rear ports and connections are straight forward. I have mine always on and as yet To run hot or overheat but I am going to purchase a cooling fan just because. So after tech support runs out and six or months pass then I will review again, hopes this helps someone, and yes it is a dual modem with speed and good WiFi. My home is about 2400 square ft,2 story and have no coverage issue with speed 2.4 and 5g.

Absolutely love it farther range than my old modem/router combo, setup was a breeze! Now I'm getting all the speed I pay for and I don't have to deal with my service provider remotely slowing down my Internet during high traffic times.

So far, coverage and speed has been good. Very easy to set up. One drawback, some older devices cannot see the router when the wi-fi 6 feature is turned on. I had to go in a unselect it to allow a 3 year old laptop to see the router.

I upgraded to this cable modem from the standard modem/router provided by Suddenlink. It has been up for 2 days and I can say enough about the difference it has made. I did all the internal setups (and be forewarned that I have managed networks and network managers globally) and then called Suddenlink. It took about 20 minutes on the phone, mostly waiting on things to happen and then WOW! It was giving my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 750mbps on speed tests on Suddenlink's 1gb connection. It is reaching much farther with the Wifi covering spots that the old modem struggled with. It is hard to impress and ex CTO but I am impressed with this product.

It started out by activating the modem with the nighthawk app and not having to call Xfinity to do it. A few minutes later, I was getting the full speed that I was paying for. I've had it for about a month now and it's been rock solid in performance and availability. The coverage throughout the house is great.

We purchased the CAX80 WiFi 6 Router combo for our new Xfinity service. The technician was able to connect it with ease since this is a certified router for Xfinity. Our speed was 1 gig a second from the get go with this great machine. The range is excellent as well and we have not required a mesh WiFi extender since its installation. Follow the simple instructions included with the device. VERY IMPORTANT: After the CAX80 is connected to the internet, you must use a device that is connected via WiFi, not wire/LAN to the router when performing the set up process. Once you open the wireless connection, you will be prompted to create your admin login and password. We have a vast array of smart devices in the house and the CAX80 handles them all with the greatest of ease. Excellent, powerful machine! Worth the investment!

My old Netgear C6300 was a champ. We had been using that router consistently for online gaming, browsing, streaming, etc every day from 2015 until 2022 when suddenly it had to be restarted every other day because it just lost connection. Turns out, Xfinity stopped supporting the unit and was pushing for us to upgrade.
So we went with this AX6000 model, which should do us again about 7 years (at least). It supports data speeds upwards of 2gb, which is well beyond what the cable market offers today.
The Nighthawk app is slick, gives you plenty of relevant data and controls. This is a nice feature because the C6300 required you to go to the admin page on a browser to do any configurations.
So far so good, no restarts and everything is blazing fast. Can actually watch Twitch streams at 1080 source and both play mp games on PS5 simultaneously with no issues.
