A MUCH needed change
Description: Decided to make the switch from my carrier provided router to this one after experiencing signal drops and issues for months. Saw a HUGE improvement right away. Better signal strength, fewer signal dropouts, and the setup was so easy. Easily the best decision I could have made.

I'm not very techy and had a hard time installing this item. Included is a phone number to call for help, and the company representative was very kind and patient, and soon it was up and running. I occasionally get a text that it has checked out my devices and all is well. I get great coverage and am happy I bought this. And it takes up little desk space. A win, win!!!

Title: Work effectively for home
Description: The router provide constant service throughtout our home. All of our connected devices benefit from this router. While the setup on the app was longer than expected, the router was a good buy for our needs.

Bought this to replace an older (very much older) Netgear router. This one was easy to install, set-up, and use. Only negative, and I knew it before I bought it, are the number of Ether net ports. Wish it had a couple more like the older one.

Bought this to replace an RAX80 that has worked just fine for years.
Setup was very easy since it's used in conjunction with my Frontier Cable Modem. Setting up and configuring WiFi was also very easy for both my private Networks and Guest Networks.
However, several other important features never worked right on this one or even on a 2nd replacement of the same model. \\Readyshare never worked right and could never access my 2 large USB external drives.
DHCP device and IP address reservations has never worked right either. Devices configured to retain their IP address (by MAC address too) never retain the assigned IP address.
Several other issues with this model - RS200 - resulted in hours on the phone with Netgear Support, nearly every single day after purchase. Netgear Support finally advised me to buy another one of the same model, which I did, but it has the same issues. Netgear has not been abe to identify the cause of these issues, so they remain unresolved. The Netgear Support Tech I worked with told e that he believes they are defective. Not happy at all.
Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback and we want you to know that your experience is important to us. We're sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues with your RS200 after speaking with support and replacing with a new device. So far so good. I did have to pay for someone to hook it up for me. On the chat they said it was easy to set it up, my opinion it was a little difficult. And best buy wanted to charge 200 or so, even with the membership. I just got my computer guy to do it for me. I really wanted the lesser one but was talked into the next one up. Then went i got my bill I did not realize it was 167.>> I will pay attention a little better next time.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk BE6500 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router is a powerful router that provides excellent coverage. I'm impressed with how well it covers both the third and first floors of my townhouse. Setup was also incredibly simple.

I loved my previous Nighthawk router but when I upgraded my internet services to 1 gig It was time to upgrade my router. I never even looked at any other routers because my old router was great. Plus I wanted the readyshare ability. Also I wanted to be able to set my own QOS settings. I am hoping they will add that back with a firmware upgrade soon.

This was one of the easiest set-ups I have ever installed. It definitely handles the device load for two floors. Highly recommended. Works well with Spectrum Internet.

I had the previous iteration of this router/modem by Net
Gear but after 7 years it was time for a newer, faster one. This is it.
Just as good, but faster and better looking.

Easy install. All devices connected to WiFi easily. Looks like the basic Armor will work for me. I am terribly dissatisfied that the price when down $20 shortly after I purchased it!
