I've been using Netgear products for years and I've never had one of them fail to function right out of the box. I looked at reviews, including Consumer Reports and got great reviews. Well after trying three times to setup this product, and having it fail to work, I gave up. I investigated further and found comments from folks who were having the same problems with this product as well. One person suspected there was a bad batch of these routers when bought a third one from a different source and was able to set it up without any problems. I returned this product and bought a different Netgear wifi router, which was easy to set-up and works just fine.

Purchased on 12/3/24. One of my Satellites stopped working on 1/16/25. I contacted Netgear to assist with a replacement. I attempted reboots, resets, deleting apps, etc. They gave instructions that only my son-in-law could interpret (he writes computing code for a living). The satelllite is graveyard dead. I requested a replacement. Netgear alleges they have contacted the warehouse, but no reply, or no replacement inventory, or don't know when we'll get one. If you don't keep nagging them. Nothing happens. 2 months this has been in play. I've now requested a refund for the whole system. My request was sent to their Customer Care Team. Today's date is 3/13/25. Still waiting.

The product itself, I can’t speak on. As a longtime customer of Best Buy customer service has deteriorated. They couldn’t even cancel the order after 3 weeks of waiting. Last purchase ever at Best Buy.

Dont buy it. Frim day one is giving problems, try to send it for warranty, they try to fix it by telephone, works for day but I forgot to return it in time. Anyway, Is the worst mesh I ever had. I bought another brand to forget this bad experience

I bought this at the beginning of the year. I’ve been in touch with Netgear customer service, my local ISP customer service. Nothing seems to work
I’ve set up several Linksys and Cisco routers in the past but after five months, this Orbi refuses to work
It might be as simple as that I bought a lemon but it definitely has me thinking twice about investing into future Netgear products

The speeds on the box are misleading. The lan ports are only good for 1gig. The 3.8 is the total between all 3 units. Very misleading and false advertising
