Hardware Great, admin not so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Orbi mesh system is easy to install but the admin app for cell phone and for PC running Windows 10 are not so good. Got the phone app to work for a few hours and then it suddenly refuses to connect to the router. I had a similar problem trying to run the admin program on a Win 10 PC. It refuses to connect - most of the time. It has connected for short periods of time but it seems that something in the Win10 security blocks it. It works if you boot to SAFE mode. Have not yet been able to find what setting is causing the blocking. Very frustrating.

works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was really easy to set up, and replacing our older router with this made tested internet speed go from 20 mbps to 150 mbps (we're paying for pretty fast internet). It does require downloading an app and creating a Netgear account, but that was fairly easy. We just got it recently, but so far so good. The one thing to note is that when you plug in the satellite, you have to give it a good few minutes to get set up and connected, so that's something to keep in mind if you're testing spots to put it.

Perfect signal strength!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Orbi Mesh Wifi units are awesome. I set them up in a three story townhome and the signal strength was perfect in every corner of every floor. The Orbi app makes managing your network easy and also helps with shutting off access when the kids try to sneak in some screen time. The only challenge with these units is synching them in the right order if you use the daisy chain setup and experience a power outage or move hardware around.

Excellent stability and range
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a ranch house that couldn’t adequately be covered with one access point. (Refrigerators block WiFi signals, imagine that.) With three of these throughout the house, I have solid fast coverage throughout—even to the back deck when I set out there and the Ring doorbell on my front porch. One of them is near my entertainment center, so I can plug in my PS4 and Apple TV for much easier setup. I haven’t had to reboot them, and they recover gracefully after power or internet outages.

Huge improvement over other routers I've had
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Orbi system was very easy to set up, and once It was, the difference in WiFi speed throughout my house was immediately noticeable. I love that the main unit has 3 ethernet connection, while each of the two orbs has 2 ethernet connection. This allowed me to connect my TV, to the internet using the ethernet cable, for better, faster streaming. I also have my laser printer setup on the network, so we can print to it from any computer/tablet in the house. Overall, very happy with the system.

Good but not great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking to cover a large area with wifi and hold great speeds this is a great setup. I have a three story home and it blankets the entire house easily with good speeds. If you game this may not be the setup for you. Even hardwired from a satellite to my pc I experienced 60-70ms latency consistently. The transfer of info from the hub to the satellites is the cause. If you can put the hub close enough to the pc it will likely fix the issue. I ended up going with a dedicated gaming router and the problem is resolved

It works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to purchase this item; however, I went ahead and gave it a try. I am actually impressed with it. It provides great coverage in my home and helps to distribute the bandwidth in the most practical way possible. There is an app that can be downloaded to your phone for simple settings adjustment as well as the ability to log in to the router via a browser for more advanced settings. I have more than 30 wireless devices connected (as well as a wired cnnectilns. Each hub or satellite contains two ports) and every device has excellent speeds.

Great coverage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement for a router in a community theatre environment. I was getting tired of having to reset the router whenever WiFi coverage would diminish and speed would slow down. Setup was easy, and Orbi can be monitored and controlled from a phone app. Coverage is great. Pretty consistent coverage overall, which has made everyone much happier. It's not cheap, but it has solved the problems we were having.

Mesh is best!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I actually bought these as a gift for my best friend, but I use his network often and did the setup for him. I can definitely recommend these. For modern WiFi usage, mesh networking is definitely the way to go, and the Orbi is no exception. The Netgear app makes setup a breeze and the lush coverage throughout the home can't be beat. Spend a little more for a mesh system like this and you won't regret it.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was very simple to set up, I have a smaller home that is 1000 sq ft per level. I have the router in the basement, and the two satellites upstairs spread out from one end of the house to the other. I have a strong signal that covers my whole house and backyard. The speeds have been amazing, I would highly recommend this product! I was able to update with no problems, I read several reviews that said that was a problem.

Greta product and easy install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replacing our old apple extreme network system, Orbi has been excellent! Right out of box with easy instructions and fast setup. Plus, the range of the signal with multiple satellites are a great addition to our home and home business. We have a large family with multiple devices and the signal strength has improved greatly with better speed for connection. Plus it Includes Disney Circle for internet filtering. I highly recommend this system!

Resolves any connectivity issues you may have
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my mom who had a home that's around 4,500 square feet. I previously installed an AC1900 router that did great upstairs but struggled in the basement. After installing this into her home, she's able to stream 4K quality anywhere from corner to corner on both floors. It's all set-up through the app and is very quick and easy. I saw minimal speed losses on the second floor compared to the speed being paid for.

Highly recommend. Great performance!!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Best Buy sales associate had a high degree of product knowledge on the different WiFi products they had in store. He guided me to decide on the Orbi system which best meet my needs. Highly recommend this system and also shopping at Best Buy because the support and service is top notch. This system has performed flawlessly and has the best range in my 2,500 sf home. Plus the Orbi app is really nice too!

No more wifi connection drops
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a new Razer Blade Pro (2017 model disguised as 2018 model) and Macbook Pro (late 2011). Both used to experience wifi connection drops frequently from modem/routers supplied by both AT&T and Comcast. After buying Orbi, I no longer have the dropped connections. My voice and video conferences are uninterrupted and I get strong signals anywhere in my house. I highly recommend Orbi satellite system to all types of users.

Great little system!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had previously purchased an older model Orbi system for family a couple years ago because of their larger home. It worked so well, we finally decided to install an Orbi system to improve dropped spots in our new house rather than hard-wiring like our last house. The set-up and install was incredibly easy. Ten minutes and finished! No problems since we set it up, and no dropped signal anywhere. Highly recommend!

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first foray into mesh wifi. Did some research and bought the Orbi. Could not be happier. Super easy to set up and install. Have had flawless wifi coverage and speed for over a month now since installing. No more TV streaming hang ups. Couldn't be happier. Full discloser I also replaced the junk Spectrum modem and bought the ARRIS - SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem also...both installed same day...working great.

Good for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My biggest issue was with their technical department. Too many conflicting answers to the same question. Bottom line Best buy installed the unit and I was happy with that. The range has been good and performance steady. i think it would be difficult to get the full range stated on package. I think you would have to have nothing else electronic and no, and I mean no obstructions anywhere.

Easy Setup, Great WiFi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Orbi was extremely easy to set up using the smartphone app. The satellites synced right away with the hub. I love having the ability to hard-wire peripherals into the satellites! My home and yard are fully covered! The smartphone app is easy to use and the admin website is also intuitive. I highly recommend for folks looking for an easy to implement router that will simply work after it is set up.

Exactly what we were looking for.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up. It takes a little longer for the satellite orbi's to connect. Don't panic. We have much more coverage throughout the whole house. Even the gamer in the basement is happy with his connection. My only beef is, some of my devices only connect to 2.4 ghz connect and you do not have the option to pick. Orbi usually connects your devices to 5ghZ. I had to YouTube for fix.
