This was purchased for my Samsung Security Camera. There was no convenient USB outlet where I wanted to install the camera. This device used the house wiring to carry the camera data. Works great.

We purchased this product because our wifi was not very strong, especially for our smart tv. This works great when we're streaming movies through Amazon or Netflix and even recorded tv shows!

My wireless router is on the other side of the house and I recently purchased a new TV with wifi. The TV dropped the connection all the time. I purchased this product and was nervous but after installing it in 15 mins and having it installed for three weeks it hasn't dropped the connection once! Great product.

I was able to move our p.c. across the room without stretching wires along the floor to the other side. Acts just like a wireless pc. Works great, did not slow down system at all.

I purchased the Netgear Powerline 500 to extend my network to a back corner of the house. I plugged in the two devices and hooked up to the computer and now my son gets high speed internet for online gaming. It works great. Previously he was using Wifi, but it was weak and slow. The Powerline 500 extends our network through the electrical outlet.

This type of product is difficult to give A review for. It's plugged in and seems to be working so I guess it's a good product.

This device works great connecting one device here and there. Performs very well. I had an advance configuration need of linking it to connect a cascading router to a main router. The advanced configuration took some to set up mostly because of the routers. Once it is set up it is working wonderfully even in this advance situation.

My wireless signal was not reaching the other side of the house very well. So I installed this. It was working without minutes, and works very well most of the time. It does seem to slow down at the same time every evening. But I'm thinking that may be my internet provider and not the device itself. I've had not problems with it.

At the same time I bought an Ethernet cable be able to place my router closer. After installing both (Powerline to my laptop and the Ethernet cable to my router), I measured the speed about 5 times using the Powerline and then I measured it using only the wifi and I was shocked. The speed using my wifi is higher than using the Powerline so I returned it and I kept only my Ethernet cable!

I had to install a wired network connection and wasn't looking forward to the cabling job for a one-off installation. While I was researching costs to buy the bulk cabling, etc. I saw these and thought...if they work, why not! It would save me a lot of trouble. They worked perfectly. Very happy I found this.
