I connected this to my tv and xfinity modem that I had in the other room. I didn't get very good wifi reception before but now i don't buffer at all.

Works like intended. I use it long range and I experience slight loss of speed. Overall a very worthy purchase.

Don't want to run wires, then this is for you. It works well enough to move HD signals, and can be expanded or you can add additional units to it.

The product allowed me to extend my wireless coverage in my home by allowing me to add another wireless access point on the far side of my house.

I have purchased three of these 2-unit packages and now can send all picture and sound signals received by my modem into all rooms in my home simultaneously through the electrical wiring system. It works just as if I had a modem in every room.

Ours stopped working and we were handicapped without the internet. The sales person knew exactly what we needed and we are up and running again.

This works very well. It increased my speeds to get the best picture (1080 Super HD) on my PS3 for Netfilx most of the time. Using wireless, I was not able to keep the best picture during high traffic times, and it was usually the worst picture (240) before getting these powerline adapters.

Loses signal strength... Guessing it depends how the wiring is done.

Our wireless internet is on the main level of our house and my office is upstairs. I got a fair signal until the family came home and ran micro and starting logging into Netflix. Then I would loose my signal. After buying this, now I have a strong signal 100% of the time. I bought a 2nd one for my other office. I love it!

My router and my Blue-Ray player are in different rooms. I bought this because the firmware on my Blue-Ray needed upgrading but it was not hooked to the network. This did the trick. Making the wiring of my home a network path, I now no longer have to worry about the player updating - it does it automatically. And it was easy to install. Plug it in! That's it!

I really enjoy the product, better than wifi. Do not need to run any wires throughout the house.

Could not get a consistent internet connection in my living for my smart tv. Once I plug the cord into the tv it has been perfect

This was for a friend who rents and can't run cable ethernet upstairs and needed to connect tv and PS3. Worked out of the box and will put hub to connect more items. 500mps great for fast speeds running a slingbox and playstation.

Great concept but nowhere on line or in manual does Netgear explain that in order for transmitter & receiver to connect they must be in phase on same circuit breaker in your basement. If you are trying to send signal to the other end of your house it's doubtful outlets are on same circuit, rendering the unit useless.

Picked up this product to get Xbox Live for my daughter. She was very happy to be playing games with people all over the globe.

This adapter solved a major problem that we had been suffering through for several months. The store associate took the time to make sure he understood the problem and gave two solutions to choose from. This item worked immediately and has not missed since it was plugged in.

This product offers good performance for a reasonable price.

This item is quite useful if you dont want to bother with the hassle of cords and wires. But the big downside is you have to have this unit connect to the wall outlet by itself or else it will slow down your bandwidth and you'll disconnect every once in a while, other than that it gets pretty hot really fast and its not the cheapest either.
