Power adaptor failed on second power up.

The car power adaptor for the Piqo 2 worked one time and failed (will not work in either vehicle power port). The camera will power up on an A/C USB-C adaptor. Camera looks good in quality and picture is good from what I can determine indoors. Unfortunately, my other camera, the 320XR, will not display the rear camera. Completed all troubleshooting steps with no luck. Will be returning both.

For the Piqo, it’s concerning that the car power adaptor isn’t working as expected. We recommend trying a different car power port or using a different USB-C cable to see if that resolves the issue. Our dash cams use optical image sensors (similar to your eyes), which means if you are in a completely pitch black environment with no car headlights or external street lights whatsoever, the camera will be unable to pick out details of your surroundings. The same limitations would occur if you were trying to take a picture on your smartphone (with no flash) for example.
Our cameras do not require high levels of light, but generally the brighter the environment, the the more detailed and crisp you can expect the resulting image to be.

Best Dashcam for your Buck!

Installation is very easy with the included accessories, and I even had a local Best Buy complete the setup in a couple of hours using the Nextbase Pro install kit to take advantage of the vehicle monitoring features. What I really enjoy is its small footprint combined with an abundance of features for the price. The video quality is excellent, including impressive low-light and night-time imaging.
