Not much else to say about it. It's not overly fast... not also not too slow. build quality is nice... it feels like a quality lens. I'm very happy with picture quality. It feels nice in the hand... the weight is good.

Great all purpose lens
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid a little bit more in order to include this lens in my kit and what a great choice it has been. This is slowly becoming my favorite walking around lens as it has been able to produce amazing portraits as well as shots on the fly.

Ok low-cost lens

I will have too say that I have not been impressed by this lens at all. It is not very sharp and nothing that I have done to get the focus sharp has worked. I use it periodically now when I need to shoot composites otherwise it is relegated to the back of my camera bag.
