After watching a YouTube video I had a good idea on all the features on the camera and the settings I wanted to use. I am now able to take action pictures of my children's activities and get a good picture. This is the primary reason for my purchase. The video is also very good.

This camera takes great pictures and is easy to use. So far my wife and I have no complaints.

I really love this camera. I wanted a DSLR for a few years, but didn't realize how much until I finally bought this one. It is so easy to use and the pictures are amazing. The best part of it are the different settings. I have a 3 year old boy who moves fast so the infant setting snaps a million pictures in a row and I FINALLY get smiles. In three years, I might have a total of five pictures with actual smiles with my point and shoot bc by the time it flashed, he'd moved on to several expressions. With this camera, I get ALL the expressions and can choose which to keep. I can't say enough good things about this camera!

Bought this camera for my gf for xmas. She instantly fell in love with the camera. It was very easy to set up and with-in minutes she was taking high quality pictures. This camera has so many great features that allow average photographers take above average photos.

After lots of reviewing and debating we finally decided to go with the D3200. We like all the features it has, and its easy to use. It's a great beginner dslr. The shutter speed is fast and I like the setup of the controls. We also purchased a telephoto lens and it is amazing how much detail you get from objects so far away. So far we have been pleased with it and would recommend it to someone looking to learn how to take great pictures. If you are in a hurry and don't have time, or haven't learned how to use all the features yet, you can use one of the many auto modes. They take great pictures as well.

Love the camera, everything about it makes it easy to use as a perfect entry level dslr. Lenses get pricy, but the stock lens is great for everyday shooting.

It takes such beautiful pictures. Had normally wanted the D5200 but the Best Buy I went to did not have one in stock. So I bought this one and I love it. My husband is a truck driver and I ride along with him and I can take perfect pictures while moving.

My wife has used the camera a few times at family gatherings and when we are out and about. The pictures are amazing and the camera easy to use. The only thing is it is big so you definitely want to pick up a camera bag to carry it so it doesn't get damaged.

Love the camera. It takes great pictures and is vary easy to use. The down side is the mini usb port is fragile and broke after only one month of using it.

This camera is excellent for beginners and advanced shooters alike. The 24.2 megapixel sensor delivers great picture quality (even in low-light) and gives the shooter the ability to crop without losing too much detail. I have been using this primarily for nature photography and it captures detail very well, and has excellent video quality. The full manual mode is easy to use, but it also hosts a variety of modes for beginners as well. The 18-55mm kit lens is great for wide angle landscape photography, all the way up through portraits. The battery life is great (at around 300 shots per life). Pretty much everything about this camera stands out compared to other entry-level DSLRs, however, there is no panorama mode. That is not a big deal considering you can just stitch photos together afterwards on the computer.

The camera is not heavy, it is easy to use and takes great pictures. My son is the main user and he researched many camera for months before we bought this one. He has used it many times, and he finds loves it. The price was the best we had found anywhere. It is very quiet, and the video feature is wonderful. He has used it already for a class in college. Preprogrammed options are numerous and easy to use.

I wanted a camera that would take great pictures in lower light. This camera is everything I wanted. It takes great pictures and so easy to use. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

This camera is absolutely amazing! I am an upcoming photographer and blogger. I go to different events and take pictures of celebrities for my site, so I'm always in need of my camera! My first DSLR was the Nikon D3100 which I absolutely loved, but I made a promise to myself that once I mastered it I would go ahead and upgrade and guess what... I DID! The reason for going to the d3200 vs. d5100 was the megapixels. I went into best buy and tried the camera out and the difference in the pictures on both cameras were crazy! The D5100 picture quality came out almost the same as my D3100 but the D3200 picture quality came out like how the canon comes out where the colors pop out etc. That's what sold me! I've used this so far at 3 of my events and for 2 Photoshoots and I am absolutely in love with the picture quality! Also! You can purchase a WIFI adapter that was made for this camera that allows you to send your photos from the camera to your phone!! Definitely comes in handy when I want to Instagram photos instantly!! A MUST BUY!!
