My daughter spent several weeks researching cameras she could use as a beginner. She has no experience at all and she found this model to be the best for the price. She has enjoyed using it and the pictures seem to be good.

I am gifting this to my friend, this is the latest sensor with 24mp count. even D7200 has the same sensor. I wuold hight recomment this to start of decent photography , I would suggest to try with potrait lens such as nikon 50mm/35mm 1.8 as they are extaordinary lenses for the price. This is a best price for a camera body so you can save few extra buck to get lens of your choice.. Also try Sigma 17-70mm, Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 with this body for fantastic and pro like photos.

My brother is a photographer and I have always been intrigued by his work. I spoke to him and he said to purchase this camera because it was the best one and newest one for beginners. I learned how to use this camera within a day. Now on my free time, I go to take pictures of my lovely girlfriend and city of angels. No regrets. Will be buying lenses soon!!! My daughter , who is 15 and is the owner of this camera, has rated the camera a 9 out of 10. It has many features that make picture taking an absolute dream. She has the camera with her constanly, and is able to take awesome close up pictures and with the use of the telephoto lens that steadies the pictures she is having fun there also. This camera has so many features that it will probably takes months or maybe years to be totally proficient but in the interim it will be a great journey.

The camera that I got was the Nikon D3400. This is a camera that takes stunning pictures and video. I was mainly looking for a dslr that was on the low end for video. When I was buying this camera I asked a worker in the camera department if the camera had an external mic jack to pick up better audio. He said yes and I’m home and there isn’t one. This really wasn’t the camera I wanted. I would really love to return it for another one if I could transfur the money but I doubt that could happen nor so would the people reading this even care. Thank you

This has proven to do an excellent job as a backup / convince camera to my D750. Easy to handle and small enough to have around when a bigger camera would be a encumbrance but, still have great picture quality.

Very easy to use. I always thought this type of cameral would be too complicated. So not true. Takes great shots.

First dslr camera. Takes super clean shots and is awesome being able to connect to your phone via bluetooth.

Sharp, clear pictures. Easy to use but has a lot of more advanced features. Best Buy staff has quite helpful.

This camera is certainly the most expensive one I've ever bought. It performs far beyond any cameras ever had. And the sales person I dealt with in the store was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to direct me to exactly what I needed and help me understand the high-end and the low-end of what I should be considering. I ended up purchasing a little more camera and I originally thought I would that day. But the upgrade was well worth it.
