Customers are saying

Customers admire the D810 DSLR Camera's astonishing picture quality, ease of use, and high resolution. Many appreciate its strong low-light performance and ergonomic design, although some find it heavy and note the large file sizes. The lack of Wi-Fi capability is also a recurring point of feedback. Overall, the camera receives praise for its impressive image quality and features.

D810 is the best + Amazing menu banks

You already know the spec and how great the D810 is, however you may not have heard about the menubanks The menu banks is one of my favorite features in this camera. There are two "shooting menu" and the "custom menu". Shooting menu banks: Similar to the U1, U2 menus in other cameras this one has A, B, C, D and you can rename it as you wish and can program it using M, A & S modes. You don't have to save it. e.g select menu A and then choose A or M or S mode, choose preferred values for Shutter speed, ISO (auto/manual), Aperture, white balance, image quality, exposure compensation, flash compensation, output format / quality, metering mode, AF points type etc.Until you change it will remain the way it is. Using the "i" button you can access and choose the different menus that you have created Custom menu: Button mapping Similar to shooting meni A, B, C & D you can rename. Using the custom menu you program and map the buttons differently in each menus. I use back button focusing and other shortcuts which my wife doesn't prefer when she uses the camera. So I created a separate menu and renamed to my name and mapped the buttons and a separate menu for my wife and mapped buttons according to her preference. Whoever uses the camera can choose their custom menu using "i" button. We love this feature and none of the cameras I know have this

I replaced the d7000 with the d810. Love it. Just love it! Easy to use. Well made. Not sure why I ever had a d7000.

My first attempt at using this camera was in low light and I was astounded with the crisp, clear pictures it captured. Bowled over! LOVE this camera!

The dynamic range on this camera is just amazing. The ability to lift shadows and reduce highlights, wow. I shoot alot of sports and the frame rate is plenty. Have really enjoyed using this amazing camera

I bought this camera to replace my D90, thinking it's time to go up one level. A full-frame camera gives a totally different experience, and with my regularly used 24-70 lens, I can capture great scenery.

Great full frame camera with easy functions to master. As always with Nikon, the menu is user friendly and you can switch between settings with ease. We had the D90 prior to this and the transition has been fairly smooth.

This camera does just about everything (except the dishes) landscapes, sports, portraits...you do have to have a steady hand, the 36mp isn't as forgiving as one with less. The high ISO is good but you really do have to have your exposure correct otherwise you will see quite a bit of noise. I switched from Canon 5d Mark III and am really glad I did. The ability to recover the shadows and highlights are remarkable. I have been able to recover images that I thought were impossible with the D810 (and would have had to trash with the Canon).

This is my second Nikon D810 and I absolutely love it! As a wedding photographer is it so importnant to have a good and proficient professional camera and the D810 definitely outdoes itself. The quality of photos it takes is beautiful. I definitely recommend this product to any photographer that is looking to step up their game to becoming more pro/professional level.

My first FX camera. Although a little bit larger in size, it's a lot lighter than my D200 that I replaced.

I have a D90, which is great, but the 810 has better color and allows in more light. I only have the one lens, right now. Can't wait to get more.

I am a long time user of the D600 and was going to wait to upgrade but the discounted D810 + free grip deal was too good to pass up. All I can say is after using the D810 for 3 weeks now I don't know why I waited. The camera is just amazing and all the little feature upgrades over the D600 add up to a much better user experience.

Excellent camera! Very versatile with super quality. The most useful commands are set in a very convenient way so you don't have to go through the menu to find them (ISO, BKT, A, S, M, f, etc). I love it!
