The 28-400 lens is a nice hobby lens, its not super sharp and its not super fast. But it is a good lens for non professional use. I used it on my z8 and z7ii. Best in well lit places. Its a versatile lens for sure. Love the range. Id buy it again. Great for pictures you sre postig online.

I thought about this lens a long time. Then seeing reviews from different places made me decide. It’s a good all over lens. I like to take nature pictures. This was a win for me.

For the $1299 price tag, I'd say it's........meh.
Kinda pricey to be honest. When you buy this and a yesterday's edition Z6ii camera body, you're looking at nearly $3K. That's just a steep price for what this is...
Are the photos sharp? Yes, they are....but it's kind of useless when the lights go down....way too much "noise" in your photos....keep that in mind...

O.k. I knew that the F stops were high for zoom. Takes a little more thought when zooming out. recommend it for certain situations. Certainly not a prime lens.

The only good thing about the lens is it has a good range and that's about it. The photos are not sharp and if you take photos on a cloudy day then there is so much noise in the pictures. Also, need to bump the ISO quite a lot.
