Customers are saying

Customers regard Xenoblade Chronicles 3D's gameplay, story, and music as significant strengths, praising the depth and hours of enjoyment they provide. However, the small screen size on the 3DS is a recurring concern, impacting the overall experience for some players. While the battle system and 3D effects are also appreciated, some users found the controls and camera to require adjustment. The game's compatibility is limited to the New 3DS models, a factor potential buyers should consider.

Creative real-time battle system, countless side quests that provide valuable experience (and rewards for "affinity" both between characters in your party and NPCs in the world), beautiful graphics and 3D that is nicely implemented on the New 3DS, and an engrossing story. It's a 100+ hour game and fully worth it.

Missed the Wii version. Now playing the WiiU version and I love it so much that I had to buy for my New 3DS when on the road. Amazing music, storyline, gameplay and overall experience. Love how you can save at any point. Some times it becomes a little difficult see as the game is so vast on he 3ds screen but luckily it does deter me because of the quality of the product.

The bad* graphics are rough and control is a little wonky at times The good* the soundtrack, the story, the rpg style gameplay, the battle system and the voice work is all top notch. If you like jrpg's you'll love it

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is a Massive JRPG Game For the New 3DS XL System and it's exclusive to that model of the system. The World is Vast and the battle system is a Action Turn Based System with a Cool Down System into Place. The Music is great and Catchy and there is Loads and i mean Loads of Content to this game. There are many Side Quests to get Cash, EXP and AP which helps you level up faster than normal. Overall i recommend this game to anyone new to the series or if you just love JRPG Games in General.

Xenoblade: Chronicles truly embodies what a JRPG should be and simply what games used to be and should still be. The music is one of my favorites and this is a genre that always excels in having beautiful and memorable music and Xenoblade has what I believe to be the best soundtrack I've heard so far. The battle system is addictive and just makes you want to seek out every enemy you can find , you never have to worry about returning to a save point or back tracking to the town before to recover. The story I found to be very original, especially the setting, and filled with twists that I really didn't expect. If you have a New Nintendo 3DS , get this game, if you don't, find a friend with a New Nintendo 3DS, borrow it and play this game.

If you are into JRPGs, especially ones with Real Time battle systems, this is a must check out. It's a direct port of the Wii version so there isn't anything completely new but this game is fantastic. It demands your attention during battles so don't think you can just set it and forget and get OP Interesting story, JRPG gameplay, great port, although with some minor graphical issues and resolution issues.

Awesome game! I heard about this game when I had the Wii, but was never able to buy it due to limited availability of this game. The 3ds port is great and the music is amazing! The story is great and the gameplay is unique, and this is coming from a JRPG fan who has played multiple series like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger.

This is one of the best Wii games released near the end of its life cycle. However, for the new3ds, it's only a good port, due to the fact there is no integration to make use of touch screen for battle, or menus, and all of the 3d features are very flat in effect, as appearing with static backgrounds. Still, for the amount of content they crammed into this cart, it's very known that there is no loading once in an area, and seamless transitions from area to area...and it's still fully English voiced. The only part that will get to you after a while is the same repetitive dialogue through battles. The double memory and faster processor, as well the larger than 4gb storage install size for the download are at the heart of reason for requiring the new3ds, over the older hardware designs and build. I can't speak or attest to the amiibo support for the title, as I'm not willing to risk opening such a hard to come by figure for 3 coins a day. If you never got the opportunity to play the Wii version, this is your chance to play another Monolithsoft epic real time combat rpg with an outstanding soundtrack.

I didn't get a chance to play this on the Wii, so I was glad it was released for the 3DS. The gameplay is fun, different from your typical jrpg. It did remind me somewhat more of a mmorpg. The story is good and the music is great. It's a long game, but worth playing.

I missed the Wii version of this game. I am so glad that I have the chance to experience the story and game play now. The battle system is very unique. It takes some times to get used to. But once you get a hang of it, you will be able to enjoy this epic saga.

I played this game with a lot of expectation seeing as how it was once a gamestop exclusive for the Wii and I heard NOTHING but GOOD things about it. As soon as it was announced for the "New" 3DS I had to buy it. The combat is fluid and at first was difficult to understand but then became amazing. The story is just perfect in every way. The voice acting... Omg.. the voice acting.. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW AMAZING the voice acting was. The crys for help. The crys of pain and everything made me flinch and feel concerned and made me get chills after every cry. The support system for each character is also flawless and on point. PICK THIS GAME UP! I BOUGHT A NEW 3DS after just buying the Super Smash 3DS edition console. THIS GAME IS WORTH IT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. The monado boy awaits you to change the future.

I played some of the Wii version of the game, and enjoyed it for the most part but decided to sell it. I was excited to see this release for the New 3ds, since it's my main game system, and the option to have another great JRPG is always great. Unfortunately, the port is quite lacking. It's an amazing effort as it still looks great for being ported from the Wii. However, the controls, menus, camera and text (probably the worst part as some is nearly imossible to read) hinder this from being a worthwhile investment. The battle system is neat, but varied control options would've made it better. Hope other's enjoy it, but for me there are better JRPGs to invest time into.

I had this game for the wii and I absoutely fell in love with it since day one. It is an expansive game, has an incredible story that will make you ask for more. Memorable characters that you can resonate with, and a rich combat system that is easy to pick up but always gives you something new to discover. Every thing I just mentioned can now be played on the New 3ds, and what an incredible way to relive one of the best RPGs of this era, and you don't even have to be at home to enjoy it! I highly recommend this to any Rpg/Jrpg fan, or anyone looking for a solidly built and amazingly detailed game. You will be REALLY FEELING IT when you get this game!

A large, expansive RPG with a great story. Make sure to note that it's only for the NEW nintendo 3DS. As the first game solely for the new handheld console, it does a great job showing what the new system can do as far as processing power for such a large game. The touchscreen is rarely used, but that's not really a drawback in my opinion but may well be a downside for some people. This game was previously available on the Wii which had better graphics according to most reviewers. Being that this is the first time I've played this game though, the graphics are just fine on the 3DS for me. Great game to sink a lot of time into. Highly recommended.

Wanted to pick up on the Wii when first released but never got the chance. Now able to on the new 3DS. Good story and graphics. Not your typical RPG and like the combat system. Only down side would be the size of the screen but it is a portable device.

It is an amazing technical achievement that this game has been made to work on the New Nintendo 3DS. The music is excellent with lots of variety and types of songs that are very memorable. This is a massive game that will take you dozens of hours to complete and it is lots of fun to play. If you want to play Xenoblade Chronicles on the go or if you do not have the original game then this is the perfect option for you. This is simply one of the must own games for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems and it still is a classic even in this portable form.

I bought this game after initially missing its Wii port a couple of years ago. I have never regretted a decision more. This game has it all. The music, the graphics, and even the combat system, they are fantastic. The characters are likable and some scenes will have a lasting impact long after the game is done. I would recommend this game to any RPG fan on the fence about whether it is worth it or not. The only "bad" part about is the fact that you would need to purchase a NEW Nintendo 3DS to play it, but the game is THAT good.
