Excellent product! I got it on sale for 799.99 but it also included a 200$ Best buy gift card so basically made it 599.99 and it was definitely money well spent. Setup was simple but I wouldn’t say easy. It takes time and focus. Might be somewhat challenging for someone who isn't used to building things. Other than that the machine is amazing it works perfectly and folds away easily. My purchase came with a free 1 year I fit membership and im loving it. Trainers are motivating and there Re plenty of classes. The free tablet that comes with it isn't great and was very sluggish at first. My solution to this which I recommend to everyone is to force stop and disable all the apps installed on it except for the iFit app. If you are in the market for a rower this is a great choice.

Fun Rower, But Lacks Resistance Unless You Hack

We've had this rower for quite some time now. I do like the iFit app and the programs on it. Note, if the rower doesn't turn off it's probably because you left the device connected to the rower (I use an iPad). Be sure to kill the app when done.
The biggest complaint I have with this rower is the resistance. There simply wasn't any change between 1 and 26. After searching/reading reviews on Reddit and YouTube, it turns out to be a quality control issue. The magnet simply isn't close enough to the flywheel. So I tore the thing apart and placed a bar magnet on top of that (see pictures and notice initial gap). Now you can feel a significant (well, maybe modest) difference between 1 and 26. You can't really notice differences between successive levels, but at least I finally have a sense of low, medium and high!

I made a good choice with this machine. It is very smooth and I appreciate the tablet with ifit app. It keeps you involved while watching real life scenery from a rowers POV of the water. The machine feels commercial gym quality and wasnt difficult to put together from unboxing.

We just got it and we have been using it almost everyday. 1 Year ifit membership was a great bonus. I didn’t purchase any warranty with it but I hope I will have no issues with it. So far so good.

I purchased this after returning the ProForm 750R rower due to a faulty flywheel, and so far so good with this machine.
First off, I really enjoy shopping with BestBuy. And I appreciate their price match guarantee. This was more expensive than the price I paid for the ProForm 750R, but I hope it ensures it holds up better than the ProForm did.
The tablet that comes with the machine is actually handy and can be used as a tool for non-bike related activities as well! You do need to download the iFit app onto it, which is simple enough but seemed odd. I assumed it would be pre-loaded. The iFit 1yr subscription came with. The tablet can sit on the ledge of the control panel or fit into the holder above the control panel. The clip that holds the tablet above the control panel is removable, which is nice if you store the rower folded up.
BIGGEST COMPLAINT: To allow for the tablet’s audio to play through the control panel speakers, you HAVE to hard wire it with your own Aux cord. Plus, the Aux input into the control panel gets blocked by the tablet of it’s sitting on the ledge (as opposed to in the holder above the control panel). Also, even with the tablet on fill volume and the control panel on full volume, it is still not loud enough to overcome any surrounding noise. I recommend plugging the tablet into a separate speaker if you want to hear the trainers from any iFit rowing class. You’ll want one that can really provide some good volume output to hear anything, especially if it’s a class on the water which tend to make it even harder to hear. The tablet speaker is pretty useless on its own. It seems worse than most cell phones in terms of volume capability.
However, it’s a very solid machine. The fold-up feature is great, the initial set-up is fairly easy (although somewhat heavy and awkward getting out of the box). Once you get past the design flaw of the speaker issues, it’s a great/cheaper option to the RW900.
Bottom line....it’s not 100% perfect design-wise, but I do highly recommend!

The rower feels amazing! Smooth, with ample resistance throughout. The seat and tablet holder is ok, they are a little lacking in the support department. I’d recommend putting a butt cushion if your tailbone hurts. The subscription service was already expired!

This provides a great supplementary workout! Good for those with bad knees, it has low to no impact. Make sure you use proper form, this has helped my Posture issues and lower back pain. This does require a good amount of space when fully extended, but folds up easily. I don’t appreciate the subscription model for classes but you don’t need it! Basically was given a free android tablet.

Seems a solid machine. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have been really happy with the workout I'm getting.
The iFit app is clunky, which is a bummer, but the actual workouts once you get going are great, and the tablet does sync with the machine nicely so all your stats are tracked and easily accessible.
Overall, it's a good rower, and I think I would prefer this one at this price point over the pricier options.

Very good rower so far. It came with a tablet and access to iFit. I like that I can use iFit for structured workouts or I can just row and not worry about having to get logged on. I like the dual resistance options via the manual lever and the resistance that can be controlled by the iFit workout. The ability to fold this in half for more compact storage is a nice benefit. The location of the electrical plug does not get pinched by the folding action but the display with the tablet cradle does need to be moved from my preferred position to be folded up. With all of the above being said I got this rower on sale for a good price, not sure if I would have paid full MSRP for this.

All the best features when compared to the other Nordictrack rowers. It is easy assemble, folds up for storage and transporting, easy to learn and use, reasonably priced, and the tablet is separate. The separate tablet is the best part. You can download apps to it and take it with you anywhere. If you understand programming or know someone who does you could wipe the CPU and load what you want to it. It's my 1st time owning a rower but feel like I got the best option available, better then the 600 hands down.

Fairly easy to put together. Use your own tools. Went to set up ifit membership and was not able to due to the pad it came with not being compatible with Ifit. Tried setting membership on phone and ifit website activation code is no longer supported. Seems to be overall pretty good product

the machine is very quiet for a piece of gym equipment, thanks to the use of magnetic resistance rather than fan/air resistance.
Not sure why they attached cheap plastic foot rests on the foot pads. I guess the main purpose is to rest your heal on but seems like they could have made this out of better material. They just seem like they will likely break at some point.

Fly wheel issues

I purchased this rower January 3rd and Best Buy was able to deliver it the next day! That’s great. Assembly was fairly easy and didn’t take very long. After assembling the rower I sat down to test it out. On the first pull I could tell that something wasn’t working correctly. There was a very loud and pronounced thumping sound coming from inside the unit every time I pulled. The trouble-shooting guide in the manual wasn’t any help. The FAQs on NordicTrack’s support website also weren’t much of a help. On January 9th I emailed NordicTrack support and told them about my problem and included a video of the issue. They emailed me back a few days later asking me to register the rower and included a link to a video showing how to remove the shield around the flywheel. I removed the shield and could easily see that the right fly wheel was either warped or out of balance. I registered the machine, took another video of the very wobbly wheel, and emailed them and asked them to fix it. 7 days passed and I got no response from NordicTrack. I emailed again saying that I needed a response asap or I would be returning the machine. After 2 more days of no response I hauled it back to Best Buy for a return. The machine is fairly heavy and was definitely not easy hauling up the narrow steps of my basement by myself. I would have much rather NordicTrack just offered to fix it, but apparently they don’t care that much about customer serviced. I’m just glad I was still in the return window to bring it back to Best Buy. For their part, Best Buy took back the rower without any fuss.

I like the rower, set was easy enough and I have not had any issues with the rower itself. The tablet that came with the rower is not the highest quality, if as going buy this again I would by the bad egg l with no tablet and purchase one separately. I have been using iFit and it makes towing in the basement more enjoyable

NordicTrack Rower is just what I was looking for. This has the iFit program on the tablet which has the teacher led workouts as well as the nature views. It has things that multiple people would like. It is quiet enough to not disturb people in the next room and you can still have a conversation while using the machine. Best Buy was able to beat the price direct from NordicTrack and the delivery was friendly and Covid 19 safe.
