Terrible job by Nvidia on the availability, but I was lucky enough to get one. Worth the MSRP if you can get it, not good enough to be worth more than that!

It's a poor value if you are coming from the 4000 series but a great uplift from the 3000 generation.

Otherwise I’d wait for the next generation of cards. I had a 2070 super so it was definitely worth it for me. Looks nice and runs well.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 5080 was a much needed upgrade for me, as my 3070 FE was quickly showing its age in newer titles such as Monster Hunter Wilds and even older ones like Cyberpunk. Multi-frame generation carries these 50 series cards in games that do not need eSports levels of low-latency. It is definitely an enhancement, not a hindrance in GPU progression While I don't feel like the 16GB of VRAM is crippling the card in any way for the games I have been playing, the 5080 should be a sub $800 card in my eyes because of it.
