Perfect for the dark

I replaced the remote that came with the TV with this new universal remote. It is easier to use plus it is backlit making watching in the dark a breeze.

Too Limited for Multiple Devices

I found it a bit complicated to set up and use. It also supports only a small number of devices, which was disappointing. I ended up choosing a more expensive remote that can handle over 20 devices in one.

Heed the negative reviews

I should have believed the low ratings! I overcame difficulties with the App communications by using a different phone but my STB would not load, even though it was in their database. Of course no way to code enter on this remote. Tech support was unable to help as they insisted the STB was in their database and it should load. They recommended I return it anb buy a 7880, no backlight, no voice control

A universal remote shouldn't be this difficult

Where do we even start? To program this you must have the nevo app. It is so incredibly dumbed down that it's ridiculous. The app freezes and the remote also freezes during programming. After 2 force closes and clearing cash and data on the app, I finally got to connect to my Vizio TV. Then, I tried to set up my Nvidia shield. It would not connect and froze up again. Pulled the battery on the remote and restarted the app and it appeared to connect to my shield but performance was sluggish and the microphone button would trigger voice search but wouldn't actually pick up my voice for some unknown reason. Tried to pair as a generic Android TV device and it pairs to my shield but none of the buttons work. When using it in Nvidia shield mode, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have my TV volume punch through so if I want to change the volume I need to physically press the TV button first. No other universal remote on the market works this way. I will be returning this. Just a total waste of my time

Nicer than BRAVIA remote; I is backlite. However lags a little bit compared to factory Sony(junk)

Waaaaay too difficult to set up and tailor to your equipment that you wish to control with this. You must load an app on your smartphone to get it going and, like most "things" from the Far East, the instructions are cryptic and non-understandable at best. I would advise the potential buyer to keep looking for alternatives. I am underwhelmed (and therefore, disappointed with my purchase) to a great degree!

Wish it was Bluetooth! Very hard to code to TV. App would not install on Apple device.

I like the fact that its a universal remote but It doesn't work completely. I have to physically get up and take my tv cord out of the socket every day to have the TV turned off instead of the power button working.

Does what it’s suppose to do

Overall it does the job. If you have LED lights near the area you’ll be using the remote, it does change the lights sometimes. I’ve had it not work on me a few times but i got into the app and reconnect it and it works fine after that.

If there was a zero star, I would give it to this remote. It is absolutely the worst remote I have ever bought, and I rarely leave review for anything but this is a pure rip off! Set up was a gigantic pain in the you know where! Then you have to always keep resetting it because it just wont control anything. We had to go back to using regular spectrum remote which works much much better than this one. Absolute waste of money!

For some reason I was never able to get the app to work. So I was unable to program the remote. I returned it.

originally purchased to use built in microphone to use voice search but it does not work with my app or tv but remote works properly very good quality very easy to connect

Just horrible

I have not had the remote for an entire year and it does not work. The remote takes 4 batteries, I changed the batteries and it still was not working. I went to change the batteries again and the remote was working with only two batteries in it… definitely malfunctioning. I will never purchase this again.

Pretty good remote

I was skeptical given the other reviews but had to give it a go to see for myself. So far so good. It controls my 8 year old Samsung tv, pioneer receiver and Roku nicely. Set up was easy though there was one spot in the instructions that was misleading/confusing (no affect on set up, maybe got lucky). The remote range is bit lacking from what I am accustomed. Not terrible just not what I was used to with my Logitech. The remote is organized nicely with a quality feel. Overall pleased.
