Lights work great with our smatphones...adds security/lighting.

Works like advertised. With a few cells to customer service, reading about the Hue on line at the Phillips web site and some on line web sites devoted to the Hue ligjting system, I was up and running in about an hour and I'am not a teckie.

Can control my lights from anywhere. Works great with Alexa also

We have several of these throughout our house and they work very well with Echo. The temperature of the light is very similar to our old incandescent bulb, but at a fraction of the wattage. I also like that they are dimmable

I love these light bulbs. I never have to worry about leaving lights on again even if I forget to tell alexia to turn them off. The app for the bulbs also helps me set up schedules for when I won't be home

This was a great purchase. Simple to set-up and works great. Bought two additional bulbs for the bedroom. The apps is easy to use and has good features. There are also many integrations. I have an Amazon Echo so works really good with Alexa.

It is so much fun to be able to talk to Alexa from my bed and control my lights all over my house. My husband is terrible at leaving lights on and I'm the one who ends up getting up and shutting them off not any more. Love it!!

I have been looking at this product for many months wondering if I should get it; I’ve asked around and watched multiple YouTube videos about this device and finally purchased one myself. I would prefer the color ones but for a starter this is quite nice. Pros: 1) Syncs with Amazon Alexa to use voice commands to control each bulb state and brightness level. 2) Has dedicated app and widgets to control with a smart phone or tablet. 3) Can change the brightness to preserve energy and save on the electricity bill. 4) Able to keep light switch on without using electricity while using the app or A.I to turn off the bulbs. Cons: 1) Pricey 2) Unable to control unless if device is connected to the same WiFi network 3) Hub needs to be hooked by Ethernet and not WiFi.

I LOVE the Philips Hue lighting products. I got this starter kit along w/ additional bulbs. I love that I can control my lights when I'm away from home. I plan on adding more bulbs and features to this kit.

Bought the starter kit, and loved it had to go out and by additional light bulbs for other areas of the house but love the convenience of it and being able to manage all the lighting from my phone.

I love the convenience of these Hue lightbulbs. I love the ability to dim the lights or to turn them on or off from anywhere in the world via the Internet. I love the voice activated functionality with my iPhone through Siri.

If you getting started in the home automation world. I highly recommend this setup. “Alexa turn on bedroom light” and boom! Wasn’t too complicated to setup and I was up and running in no time.

First foray into lighting with Alexa. Easy to set up and use it often for those individual table lamps otherwise you deal with the struggles of wall switches. It does actually what is advertised and a great starter kit.
