    My upstairs light has no on switch from downstairs. Now I just say hey Siri turn on hall light and the hallway is illuminated.

    This was the start of my smart home expanding beyond an echo dot. To me at full price it is a bit expensive, but it is a really great light system, app, and connection to Alexa. It has only been developed more since I originally purchased. You tend to get what you pay for and Philips may cost more, but they tend to be more reliable and supported.

    My wife and I love having Alexa in our house. We bought 6 echo devices, a Phillips hub and about twenty Hue lights so far, including two Hue lights that can change color by our voice commands. Also we placed Hue lights on our back and front porches so we feel safer now that we can easily turn these lights on and off from bed in the middle of the night. A+
