    I wanted a way to control lighting around the home and coordinate with wake up / bedtime lighting levels. With the routines feature combined with an Amazon Echo I've found the joy of a fully interactive alarm clock with a simulated sunrise feature that makes getting up @ 5 am so much easier.

    I honestly bought this to start exploring the smart home scene, and it's been great. We've connected this to our Amazon Echo and now it's like we're living in Star Trek times. "Alexa, set both lights to 50%" and it's done! Love the flexibility in brightness, and the expandability of the Hue Bridge itself. Set up was a total breeze.

    This is the best and cheapest option for anyone wanting to get a Hue Smart Light Setup. The color starter kit is fun but I did not end up using the color settings other than to scare my wife. Best part, hue works with pretty much every smart home application: Homekit, Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT, Wink etc. Very satisfied!
