    I'm a HUE nut. I have way, way too many bulbs. As part of a sale it was cheaper to get this kit than another set of bulbs. (disclosure: I have reduced mobility, so controllable lights is a godsend for me). This is a fine introduction to the HUE system. No color, but good for what it is.

    The starter kit is a little expensive for what you get, but if you can get past the price the Hue is pretty awesome. I wish that making "Scenes" were a little cleaner in the app. For example I created some scenes for when I wake up, leave for work, get home, ect. And it sorted them by name when I wanted them sorted by time of activation if that makes sense. I got a few more bulbs and I am happy with it and I can't wait to do my entire apartment, but that will be pretty expensive.

    These lights are simply fantastic, they always work, they are dimmable, I control them with my smartphone, I can schedule events to either happen based on time of day, (set by the clock or even by sunrise/sunset), by location (i.e. turn on the lights when you get home!). I will definitely be expanding my Hue lights!

    I have to say that although there is a 1000+ reviews for this product, I can't emphasize enough on how convenient and great this product is. you can control all Phillips lighting using the app, set schedules for on/ off and SAVE ELECTRICITY. the google assistant compatibility made it greater than it already is.
