    I live in apartment. So it can only be as smart, but is perfect for lamps and lights you can switch. So im in love with being able to say good night and having everything turn off when im already in bed

    This set is good for someone who isn't 100% certain of automating their lights using Hue or someone who wants a simple on/off/dim option to their bulbs. I have since upgraded to the Hue White Ambiance light bulbs for more "white" options and for scenes.

    Fantastic! Can’t wait to try the colored version, which are a bit costly but, if these are indicative of how useful & fun they’ll be, then should be well worth it! So nice to be able to control the lighting in my home through the app,

    I purchased this for my home after doing some research. The lights are great. The color transitions are seamless and easy to control. Connecting the hub to WiFi was not challenging. However, I wish I wasn’t limited as to where I could place my hub. In order for it to work, it has to be connect to the WiFi router. Other than that, the product is great!!

    Recently I started automating my home and the hue lights were the first items I started with. Using the hue hub, it is great to turn on or off my lights from my phone or using Alexa. It is also great to know if i left my lights on using the hue app.

    Bought these for the basement because the lights are the kind that have the pull chain and the chains keep breaking. Now that I have the lights hooked up to Alexa I just say "Akexa turn in the lights" Its so convenient.

    Love this kit. Everything I needed to use my Amazon Alexa for more things than a shopping list and a timeout timer for my son. I can now control lights in different rooms and really set the mood in the one where the magic happens

    Bulbs and functionality on wifi is great. Paired with Amazon Alexa devices Linking the hub to MyHue is very problematic, may be a Uverse issue though. MyHue can't seem to detect the hub for the linking to complete. Could also be a port forwarding issue, but it wants port 80 which overlaps with Xbox live, haven't tried changing the port forwarding yet.
