I bought this light bulb as an add on. I have many, I'm always finding a new place to put one. Love these lights wish they came in a 60w equivalent. They are very bright for a 40w equivalent.

I ABSOLUTELY love everything that HUE has! Someone showed me their lights, & I immediately grabbed a starter kit. A week & a half later, I had a total of 20+ Friends of hue products!..

cant say enough about these lights. i have had zero problems, and find the lights to work well. the apps are easy to use and customizable. great lights, looking into friends of hue !

The Hue system is truly realized when you add more lights to it. With all of the apps and options, adding lights is not only fun, but essential for realizing the potential of the setup. When you begin to move beyond the two or three lights of a starter kit, Hue becomes less of a novelty, and more of a practical tool and transformative way of lighting your home. Splurge a bit and start replacing your regular bulbs with Hue bulbs; You will begin to see just how useful and interesting the whole system is. Bear in mind these bulbs last as long as normal LED bulbs (ages!), but also to avoid putting them in very damp environments like the bathroom.

I have had no problems with my Hue lighting system. I like to be able to control the colors and temps. The activities, timers, and geofence are a plus. I love these lights!

My only reason for not giving this item 5stars is the price as I love the systems and the choice of colors you can select from I find the price to be a little to high and look forward to the day these come down. Other than that this is an excellent product and I would fill my whole house full of them if they were less.

Sometimes that statement doesn't occur when dealing with new home automated items (ie the August lock for Android). I really like the HUE lighting products.

Bought several of these to outfit my recording studio, couldn't be happier. Certainly a little pricey, but the plethora of apps available make them worth it.

I have a dozen hue lights now and can't get enough of them! I appreciate the recent price drop on hue lux and hope for a price drop on the other lights, too.

Added two more lights to our Hue collection. Must buy the starter kit first so that you have the hub to make them work. Expensive but very cool!

I love these things. I have them everywhere. Seriously. Name a room in the house, and one of these little guys is lighting it. Even though the Hue-App sucks, and honestly, their web portal is miserable. But one day, one day I swear, I'm going to write my own python script that let's me do all sorts of great things with these lights. But when this purchase arrived I realized that I am a complete idiot. I should've just spent the extra $30 or $40 and bought the starter kit and gotten 3 of these things. So yeah. I love these. But I'm an idiot.

The lights are fantastic. Great range of color and they can get very bright. Integration with Amazon Echo and other Hue apps is great.

You'll love HUE TOO! Energy saving, thousands of colors to pick from, helps you create the perfect atmosphere, dim from 10% to 100%, controlled via an app, HUE TAP, Your computer, and now voice control by Amazon Echo. You can also program the lights to come on at any specific time and turn off, along with proximity turn on or off as you leave/enter your home. You will need to purchase the Hue Starter kit first which come with three bulbs and the connection hub. One you have that you can add up to 50 bulbs per hub.

As a long time Hue user this bulb was just to expand my system. Addition was easy using the iOS. The grandchildren love the colors!

These bulbs are amaaaazing. I have 10 throughout my apt and it's like a party house or a space to relax. A must have for Tech lovers.

Love to way I can change my kitchen lights to the color I want. Had to buy a new light as one broke during our DIY kitchen makeover.

Wish these were a little less expensive, but they are capable of way more color variations than other, less expensive smart bulbs

Bought it as a gift. The new owner thoroughly enjoys the product. Easy to use and connect.
