Buyer beware , if you search for slim recessed hue lights these will pop up in your search. However these are NOT the version of hue recessed lights that can be easily popped into you ceiling. They require a full can lighting infrastructure. I purchased these for a remodel and when the contractors were looking to install they could not and new lights had to be purchased. Then guess what ?! Best buys return policy is for 15 days... so basically they said tough luck "sell them online or something". So please be aware if looking at these lights they MUST have can lighting infrastructure in place.

Super easy to install and setup within the app, but I’ve noticed it randomly turns itself off every now and then after being illuminated for a while.

Only downfall is that when you use the app or phillips switch the down lights have a very light glow to them in a dark room when shut off. My understanding is there is a fix but i still need go call phillips.

I love these so much, which is why I hate giving this score. The lights glow very subtly when set to 0% brightness. Makes use in a bedroom really crappy. It's why they're sold out. Wait for a new revision later this year.

These lights do not turn all the way off from the app. They do if you flip the switch, but when you are cozy in bed, it's an issue. You turn them off and there is a faint glow, still. I googled and apparently it's a known issue. I wish I'd known before I installed in my bedroom.

Great lights! Easy to install and the app is user friendly. Also works well with Google home and the Google dot.

Installed these in my living room and women ive never even met are claiming my lighting got them pregnant
