The entire Phillips Hue family of intelligent lighting is Wonderful! I look forward to the prices coming down and perhaps for some more options like on/off switches for existing lights, etc.

You can make the room all sorts of colors. Just make sure you get an LED light switch with it

Great for over head inset lighting. Lights that are over head but do not have a light cover.

Have these lights installed all over my basement. Very easy to install and setup using the HUE app. The variety of colors these lights produce is truly amazing. There are so many great apps to control the lights, from syncing with music and setting the mood while watching a movie...

These are awesome. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it can only kind of do green light. The Bloom lights do green much better and are intended to be complimentary to these main lights. As long as you know that ahead of time, it's not a big deal to plan accordingly. They are a big hit at parties, great for watching movies, and setting up lighting scenes easily for the entire room.

These light bulbs are really neat. They turn different colors and they can be turned on and off by your iPad from anywhere as long as you have internet where you are. My son used them to create an awesome light show with music playing from our ceiling speakers.

We originally bought a starter set of lights, and have been slowly adding to that set. We love them sooo much, I really want to do my entire house in these lights. Connects to phone, app is easy to use. Only problem is the price on buying a good 20+ lights!

I bought these lights along with the LED White and Color Ambiance Starter Kit to setup a Hue network in my bedroom. Figured it was a small enough room to start and see the capabilities of the system. Setup was literally as easy as following the few instructions on the paper and the network was up and running in no time. I have been thrilled since the installation. I already had the Amazon Echo (definitely recommend as a companion if you can get it!!!) so I can't tell you the convenience of talking to and setting your lights. I know it sounds lame but as an IT guy that kind of techy stuff fascinates me. The wake up, sleep, and scenes/customization of the lights is awesome and a few additional apps and I had my room turned into a full on light show in no time!!! Definitely going to be expanding to the rest of the house.

I am obsessed with all things smart home so adding these colored lights were perfect. You can change the color to whatever you want and set different scene using the attached hue app. These lights are more than what I expected!

My whole house is home automated. These floods (BR-30) work great. Super easy to pair with the phone and hub. The light is bright and color adjustable. In theory- I will not have to replace them for 20 years.
