These multicolor light work perfect. i love to adjust the colors for the holidays. I will eventually have these for my whole house. easy app adjustments.

The philips hue lights are not only long lasting LED lights, but they also come packed with extra features when paired with a smart phone. Currently I have my lights setup to turn off automatically when I leave the house. I also have them paired with my Fitbit watch using IFTT app to turn the lights on when I wake up. Although the price is steep for a light bulb the extra features makes it worth the premium price. Of course you don't only buy these lights for a plain white light. You can change them to any color as well as different kelvin tepertures of white light.

I wanted to like these bulbs. Got a killer deal on them too. Unfortunately they are just not bright enough to light up my normal house living room. Put 6 into my recessed lights and it was rather unimpressive. Color was okay for certain colors, but others were horribly reproduced and did not look like the stated color at all. Hue app is horrible when it comes to changing colors. You have this small spectrum looking thing that you tap, and I have skinny fingers, but I was fat fingering the wrong colors consistently. Also did not like that there was no easy way to change white temperature levels. One thing Hue has going for it is integration with multiple smart homes gadgets. I really wanted to like them but had to return them and settled on LIFX bulbs which beat the hue brightness and color reproduction by a mile.

This is an additional light in the family room, easy to setup and use. The only downside to Hue is the cost of each item you buy. This can add up very quickly. The plus side it's more reliable than Wink which is cheaper.

This is the floodlight shaped color and ambiance Hue bulb. It works great... my only small complaint is that it doesn’t match perfectly to the colors of the Lightstrip Plus and/or the 3rd gen color/ambiance bulbs. It’s close and looks great just the colors aren’t an exact match with the other color Hue products I have

So we have 40 of the Hue bulbs in the downstairs part of our house. We've had them for about 4 years so are pretty committed. Even though there are comparable lights out now, the third party app support is usually Phillips Hue centric. It's quite amazing to see folks reactions at our parties when we start the lights shows! Only negative is the poor greens and blues from the bulbs but that's about it. The Hue Tap and Dimmer really augment the system! We also use them with SmartThings for home automation.

I'm impressed with how bright they are. I love the scenes, and the new app is amazing. DOES REQUIRE THE HUE HUB, NOT INCLUDED.

I was hesitant to purchase because I'd read reviews that were less than great. However, I've had 3 lights (along with the Bridge) for a few months now and so far the Bridge, lights and app (on my iPhone and iPad) work great. I use the system every day via "routines" i.e., programmed schedules as well as manually and have only had one minor glitch which didn't effect the lights themselves and was attributed to my wifi service not this system. So an enthusiastic 5 stars.

Great product that works with Amazon Alexa! Hope the price comes down for I would buy many more.

From my experience dealing with these lamps in a commercial setting, I can tell you that the original version Philips developed had faulty components that would fail early under normal usage and conditions. However, with these version two lamps, they seem to have fixed that issue. The second generation hue app is a great improvement over the first generation. Overall, these are great lamps and I can't wait to get ahold of more of them!

Ever since I bought these smart Hue multicolor lightbulbs, I've been enjoying the winter evenings that much more - the transition to different colors in the evening, then shutting off when it is time to go to bed, as well as the bulbs turning on and getting progressively brighter in the morning when it is time to get up helps me relax and unwind in the evening, and then wind back up for the day. Great stuff!!

Good light, does what it needs to do, easy to change color, I would reccomend it to others

Gotta love these lights, they work great and being LED they are going to last for a very long time, its nice to be able to set themes and different colors depending on if you are watching movies or having a party. I only have 2 cons though, the first is that these do not do green light very well at all when compared to the LED strips, the other con is that the price is pretty steep for one bulb.

I wanted to upgrade my entire home to LED bulbils. After exhaustive research into these bulbs I decided to drop the money and switch everything over. Great choice!

I love the entire Hue lineup. Once you get the starter kit, you are off to the races. The color selection is tremendous, but what truly makes this bulb and the system that it works with great is the routines. For my living room, we have not hit a light switch in months. When the sunsets, the lights slowly come on. When it gets darker out, we make all the bulbs a warm color. After the baby goes to bed, the lights go to a dim warm color. Before bed, the lights brighten a little bit so we can navigate around. Great product, love the customization and automation.
