East setup, and outstanding performance. Only downside is price, $50 per bulb!

I love my Hue system. I purchase additional bulbs periodically because of the price. I add them here and there. It's an awesome system that the whole family can enjoy.

I have two installed about 4 feet apart on a ceiling. I use the mobile app for the lighting configuration. You can select colors and dim or brightness settings for each independent light. You can label the light itself for where it is located in the house to make it easy for which light you are making the adjustments to in the app. The lights on full brightness are very bright and rich in color. The biggest problem is that if you turn off the wall switch to the lights, it completely resets the settings that you last saved in the app. That is very annoying.

Easy to install, works great, so many colors and options you can play with.

Another great smart home product if you don't mind an additional hub. Pairs well with smartthings hub. As well as Stringify and IFTTT. Plenty of light variations. Be prepared for a minor financial set back if you plan on using throughout entire home as bulbs ca become expensive depending on how many you need for project. Recommend this item to enhance smartphone.

They are awesome added these in the Living room. They took a couple tries to connect but once connected they stay connected. The only issue is when they are switched from color to normal white you have to go back into the app and adjust them to white.(should have a default setting). Purchased the Disco app (play store) for a party and people loved it.

Fantastic lights I installed them in my kitchen above the counter which I have three bulbs that was my starter kit and after that I installed them in my living room ceiling and they are fantastic they work great because they give you a very bright light or or if you want you to throw little color in them for parties Christmas time etc. and they're all controlled from a app

My review may be a bit skewed. I went through four of these bulbs. Each time the result was the same. After a few days it would start loudly buzzing. I tried different light sockets but still the same thing would happen. On the positive side the lights were very nice when they worked for the short while. I might have just gotten a bad batch of them so I will try them again sometime later. Maybe even from a different vendor as a test.

I love these lights. They are a little expensive but work great!

Lights seem high quality, very bright with a great warranty

Performs exactly as advertised... many reviewers complain about the app and lack of functionality that may be seen from other vendors. However if you read the packaging and are expecting a high-quality multicolored light that you can control with the app you're getting what you paid for. Very happy with the overall quality and build and ease-of-use.

I've slowly been adding more Hue lights to my home. These lights are in the recessed lighting above my fireplace. They look great! I have two lights above the fireplace - made one red and one green for the holidays. These lights work well with the new Home app on the iPhone. I automate them to turn on at sunset and off at midnight each day.

I bought into the Philips ecosystem a few years back, and now have about thirty bulbs and other lighting solutions scattered through my house. At first it felt kind of like a ridiculous novelty, but I've come to really appreciate being able to control the tone and colors of my lighting -- especially now that voice control is so easy.

Really great product - overall pretty reliable for home use. Wish the blue color was a bit more true to life, but not too big of a deal.

I bought the Bridge and this bulb to try out in my av room, and I have to say I love it. Being able to control and change your lighting on the fly with my phone is great. I'm going to add 11 feet of strip lighting next. This has enhanced everything I do, from music to movies, or just setting the mood for surfing the net on my iPad.

If you want to have fun and lighten a room up. This is the bulb! Multiple colors give you a lot of choices to have and set the mood. From a quite night to a party atmosphere. They are not cheap but you have look at it that your not just buying a white light bulb. I have them in every room and with Echo my house is voice controlled.

How fun is this product! I purchased the Echo Dot and on a whim went for the $99 special, which included the Philips Hue White Starter Kit. Easy to set up (mostly - Siri a little tricky). Was so enamored of my 2 white lights that splurged and went back and got a color light. Now looking at the dimmer switch/light combo! Very pleased.

Got three as a gift and bought three more for my basement family room. One had a buzzing sound, so took it back To Best Buy and exchanged with out any problems.
