I have been wanting these lights for a while and finally bit the bullet and purchased them. So far I love them. Very easy to set up and use and I love the WOW factor that people get when they see them. Dynamic lighting makes watching movies more pleasant and the ability to have the lights sync to music is a great option.

This is an awesome add to your hue collection. With great color choices, your home can be illuminated with beautiful colors.

These lights are so awesome. They are well made, energy efficient, and so very cool. I love playing with the color change feature and using alexa (my smart assistant) to control the lights. If you can get past the price I highly recommend these. They are well worth the money if you are looking for a smart light system.

I bought the A19s for other rooms in my house but never made the jump to the BR30s for the ceiling cans in other areas of my home. I had GE Link BR30s in the cans originally due to their price (they work with the Hue app, just not HomeKit). However, the Hue BR30s are so much brighter and better and more responsive.

I bought these to replace the recessed lighting in my home. They add great effects for various settings. Pricey but fun

The light does have all these really cool colors, and I'm sure it is energy efficient. What no one tells you, and this is very important, is if you have a number of bulbs and you go to the trouble of making them all different colors and light levels, and someone turns the light switch off guess what happens?? They all go back to normal regular light when it's turned back on again!! You think that's no big deal and you make a work around? The ap is on your phone which you use for business so you can't leave it there as an expensive remote control for the lights. You try to download the ap on the NEW family windows computer that sits on the breakfast bar so everyone can use it for the family room based entertainment hub connected to the XBOX. There is no Phillips ap! So you think you will maybe upgrade your tablet which is only 1.5 years old, a Galaxy Tab 2, so you can leave that as an expensive remote. Incredibly the Phillips Ap is not compatible. So then you come up with voice commands to control this from Alexia and there are no instructions so it takes a long while to figure it out. So if you share your house with children, a spouse or other and you don't or can't share your phone these light bulbs are....... great for parties makes daily life more complicated. PS went o Philips left emails and ...crickets.

These are not cheap but adding a few makes for a lot of fun and easy way to change the mood lighting and flashy lights for the kids! No issues with connectivity at all. I use these (5 total) with Wink app & Siri (allows color change via voice). Also have one outside above front door for holiday lighting!

This home lighting system is absolutely amazing! It uses 1/10 of the energy of a normal bulb and last much longer. You literally screwed the bald in and connected via the application very easily. You can program lights seen options and save them for future use. Also comes with preprogram mood lighting.

I purchased these bulbs for my hallway (flush ceiling mount) to add on to my Hue setup. The range of color options is impressive. I like having the ability to adjust the color and brightness to "exactly" the color and brightness that I want in my home for that perfect look and feel for any occasion. In addition to the ability to change the color of the lights to literally any color that you may want for any occasion, the mobile applications available to help you get the most out of these lights are plentiful and rapidly improving. From apps that sync your lights to a movie that you are watching, to apps that allow you to program lighting conditions based on your own personal routine, or even the weather - the options are endless. The ability to personalize your home lighting is Hue. Although this light bulb does require a Phillips Hue base station and internet connectivity, I wouldn't recommend any other bulb if digitally managing your home or business lighting is what you are after. Great product.

I have 24 Philips Hue bulbs of various types in my home controlled via Samsung SmartThings and voice controlled all by Amazon Echo. These are great bulbs and very reliable and the price is justified considering the granular control of color and intensity through a broad range of applications.

These light bulbs are very impressive, you can change the light color emitted from them, you can turn them off through your cell phone, or synchronize them to change colors with a change in the music beat. Everything can be controlled with your cell phone. The cost is high but it's worth it.

We just installed recessed lighting in our living room and installed 6 of these. They are wonderful lights! I can set them to Concentrate when I'm working on things in the living room, or Relax when we're just hanging out, or use other apps to make it a disco party for the kids! Love them.

I wanted to change the look of my rooms and add a geek factor to my new home. The Phillips hue bulbs were the easiest thing to do. Completely changed the look of my rooms. They are now interstated with my iPhone and Alexa. Always fun to show to people when they come over how they work.

This bulb really brightened up a dull spare room used as an office. I wish the bulb was cheaper

Have owned for a year now. Still working great. Will add to lights as budget allows.

I purchased two of these for some cans I have in the kitchen. I put A19s in the rest of the can lights in the living room. Wishing I would've listened to the review that said the greens are not green, because they are really not green at all. Not like the vibrant greens you get from the A19 3rd gen lights. Other than that, they fit the cans beautifully and the rest of the colors are pretty good.

The bulb itself is awesome. Very vibrant. My only gripe is they are pretty expensive.

I love all my hue bulbs! I would highly recommend! I would suggest getting a few switches too.

It started with a few light strips and now I've done just about half of my house with the Phillips Hue Bulbs. Its a neat trick to be able to set the color of a room based on whatever mood your in or want to be in. Easy to install and somewhat easy to use through the app.
