Installed as a tv backlight. Nice option if you want to add ambiance.

The lights are great! Hooked them up under my comp desk and they provide a great ambient lighting effect to the room. Only problem is that in order to change the lights from the standard white you have to go out and purchase the Phillips hue docking bay thing. Lucky for me they were on sale for Black Friday so I got the start up set. The WiFi bulbs are great too.

Expensive, but works out of the box. I wanted to illuminate an entire room with the light strips. I was able to extend two different strips to their maximum lengths to provide enough lighting to allow them to be used as the primary light source in the room. It would be nice if the control block was closer to the plug to allow it to be more easily concealed.

I installed this on my cabinet tops. Lights are so bright (can be adjusted as needed) that I dont even need my regular ceiling lights! Wished that the strip was a bit longer, but overall - happy with my purchase!

I love the hue lighting system and the strip just adds more ummph to it. However, the price point for the length of this strip is a bit high.

I wasnt sure if I was going to like this light strip but after trying one in our bedroom, I now have 5 of these light strips.

I installed it on by Condo balcony in just minutes with simple tie wraps. Great adjustable lighting for night time sitting on my balcony. Works great with the optional switch and seamlessly with the phone App.

Works great with my 65 inch TV and synchs with Alexa app. I placed strips behind tv and provides perfect backlight illumination. I would buy again but only drawback is length is a little short and had to purchase extension strip. Great to pick up if you find them on sale.

This item is the perfect lighting for under my kitchen cabinets.

I originally purchased this for some under the counter lighting in the kitchen, but due to configurations of the cabinets it was not optimal. I ended up putting this in a closet in my home office with a Samsung SmartThings motion detector. The lightning in the closet was not great, but now if I open the doors the lights automatically come on, set to the proper brightness based on time of day, as well as the temperature of the light (warmer at night, cooler in the morning) I plan on getting another set or two for other closets in the home and perhaps work areas in the basement. This DOES require a Hue Hub, so if you do not have one, you will need to purchase it. If you want to have motion or door open/close you will also need either sensors for the Hue Hub or another solution such as SmartThings

It is a great product. Only purchased with the Black Friday Discount. Not Best Buy's choice it is that expensive everywhere.

i bought these lights to place under and over our kitchen cabinets. They were very easy to install and set up and they look great. They are very adjustable in brightness and different colors which adds great accent lighting for any event.

They work well with my existing older gen hue lights and are much brighter.

Works great with existing Philips Hue Hub and SmarThings IOT HUB. Greater light output and easier to setup/configure than the previous version. We went back for several more and also purchased several of the extensions after testing the Lightstrips plus version! We us these for in and under cabinet lighting along with many different Philips HUE lamp types throughout our house.
