I started with two Hue bulbs in my Den and recently added this one to my bedroom. My wife initially didn't like these until we added the remote switch but now she loves them with the easy convenience of hitting the switch. I'm a big tech guy so I love the convenience and customizability of the timers. The light switch was already programmed and ready to go with the new bulb. I highly recommend the remote control (wall switch).

I bought this starter kit and then bought extra bulbs, motion sense and remote to control lights in a second room. I like being able to change color from warm to cool white. It as easy to setup and use with iOS.

This is a good value package that includes a white Hue bulb and a switch. Gives you the option to control the bulb through the included switch which you can hang on the wall in place of your existing switch or through the iOS/Android Philips Hue app to control the bulb itself, or through voice commands if you have an assistant such as Google Home, or Alexa, or even through Siri on your iPhone or iPad

This product was easy to install and works great. Remote switch is really convenient.

I am interested in getting a full collection of hue lights and this one was perfect to start with. I did not have to connect this one to the wifi.

I needed a good reading light for the lamp next to my chair. I have tried several different ones and hated the brightness or the glare. I found this Philips Hue system that works great. I can adjust the brightness with a remote control to get just the right amount of light. Also, I can change colors to get the one best for my situation. Very neat invention!

Bought this as an extra addition to my existing hue system. Prior to pairing, I tested it out of the box to get a feel for it as a standalone system and surprisingly it worked great with the included bulb. Adding the remote and bulb to my existing hue setup was quite seamless! Thanks Philips for making awesome products!

This is a great pack to start a hue system without a hub, but even better it can be added to an existing hue system to allow the switch to control multiple lights.

I had to reset them because I wanted them to work through my existing Hue installed system but once you do that (which is easy) it worked great. I liked the fact you can control the temperature of the bulb so you can have warm white all the way up to daylight white

THe switch works great, you can place it anywhere without wiring, so, it is now right by my bed, no more getting up to turn on or off the light. It also has multiple settings, hit it once and it turns on, again and it dimms, again and it goes even dimmer. Up to four settings and then there is also the dim buttons. I recommend it.

Works great with Alexa, changes colors with and moods

The best thing is that this can store 5 totally customizable settings for any mood choice. The remote is magnetic so you can almost stick it anywhere, I even customized a false blank wall switch to have magnets in the back so this remote can double as an on-the-wall light switch as well as a pull-off remote.

This kit was an add on to the Phillips starter kit to expand my Smart home system, easy setup , pairs well with the Hue apps and the dimmer is a plus.

I bought this set to add to my hue hub light system. The light and remote work together out of the box, but can be reprogrammed to work within the main system. How to do this is buried a bit, but if you find it, it works perfectly. This remote is awesome. It mounts easily and you can remove it to carry with you.

Yes i have an iphone i can control these with. But, having the standard remote (magnetic might i add) is a great touch and good for putting in a room that you'd like a visitor to have the ability to turn them off or dim them. Not to mention.. if you can't find that iphone of yours :)

This is a really nice product. It is not wifi but the bulb is well made and the remote control is light, practical and simple to install without any knowledge of electricity. There are enough dimming options for changing the level of light. It is an excellent value for the price.
