This is the easiest way to start a smart home network without the expensive hub. The control is easy to use and can be mounted anywhere.

Bought this switch because you will notice, once you install smart lights and you want to use voice command through Alexa or other similiar devices, then you will no longer be able to use traditional light switches. The house power to the switch needs to always be in the "on" position. If you switch it to the "off" position and tell Alexa to turn the lights on, it will not work. So I installed these types of switches over my existing traditional switches to ensure the power is always "on."

This switch makes the Hue system even easier to use. I love the multiple settings available. It couldn't be easier to set up and use!

I've always had issues with guests or non-smart home users flipping the switch off and after that I wouldn't be able to use my lights anymore until I flipped the switch again. Having this on the wall helps reduce that problem.
