Lost my original remote for my Samsung Smart TV, bought this as a replacement, and have been very happy with it. ​The remote features a clever, two-stage battery cover. It has a built-in "soft stop" that lets you slide the cover down just enough to reveal six hidden programming buttons without the door falling off. These buttons allow you to easily pair the remote to your specific TV brand: Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Roku TV, or Fire TV. If you need to change the batteries, a little extra force slides the cover completely off. ​On the front, it has the usual Prime Video, Disney+, and Netflix shortcuts, plus a dedicated YouTube button—which is a massive plus for me since I use it more than the others. ​Structurally, it’s slightly wider and thicker than a typical Samsung remote, making it much more comfortable to hold. The layout is very similar to the original with only minor changes, but it helpfully adds dedicated Play/Pause, Rewind, and Fast Forward buttons. Another great feature I was surprised by is that the buttons light up when pressed and stay illuminated for about 6 seconds. Highly recommend!

Having kids means messes and the possibility of things being broke, my son was playing with bubbles and put his bubbles down without the cover, it spilt and the original remote for our tv was ruined. In a bind I looked up what remotes would work and this was the one we chose. It works great the only thing that doesn’t is one of the 4 app buttons but the other 3 work fine and we’re comfortable enough with it it doesn’t bother us. Incredibly easy set up once we figured out where the “numbers” to input the tv codes were on the remote.

Buttons feel nice. Easy setup. Would give 5 star but the lighted buttons are very dim. Only the power button lights up when other buttons pressed. Do like the one touch buttons for YT, Netflix, D+ and Prime.

So simple. It worked right out of the packaging. No complicated set up. It’s even better than the remote we lost. Double win!!!

We recently purchased a new TV for our bedroom and although the picture quality and sound are excellent the remote is awful. It has WAY to many buttons & they're configured in the most UN-USER friendly manner possible. The layout of the Philips One-Touch remote is super ergonomic! The buttons are spaced out in a comfortable way, and the backlight is very appreciated! This remote is wonderful in the dark. Pairing it to our TV required a one-button process. It comes with several TV Brand button options & you just choose your TV, That's it!! Great Choice, Great Value, and Great Product!

Nice little remote that doesn't have to be programed. It worked on my Samsung TV right put of the box. I like it a lot more than the one that comes with the TV's because of the home and back buttons. You can get in out of different streaming services with a lot less hassle.

I have an older Samsung TV. My sons and I moved to a new Home within the move. We lost the remote. We bought a Nintendo switch and couldn’t get the TV to work. Luckily, this remote was the easiest set up. Best Buy was two minutes away from my house. The pricing was incredible. Even after shopping in Amazon. I had the best price right off the bat with Best Buy.

Quality product for the price. It’s a great size & very func. I’m using it for a Sony tv and there are no issues.

The remote offered a quick alternative for a lost original remote. Set up was fast and easy. The backlit facing is a nice feature that the original did not offer. Overall, I am very pleased with purchase.

Love it. I thought it would be hard to program but it was really easy with just a push of a button. Depends on the brand of the tv. Each button is identified with a brand. It works perfectly. Totally recommend.
