Ease of use with simple button layout. Works great right out of box with easy connection to various tv models

Lost my original remote for my Samsung Smart TV, bought this as a replacement, and have been very happy with it. ​The remote features a clever, two-stage battery cover. It has a built-in "soft stop" that lets you slide the cover down just enough to reveal six hidden programming buttons without the door falling off. These buttons allow you to easily pair the remote to your specific TV brand: Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Roku TV, or Fire TV. If you need to change the batteries, a little extra force slides the cover completely off. ​On the front, it has the usual Prime Video, Disney+, and Netflix shortcuts, plus a dedicated YouTube button—which is a massive plus for me since I use it more than the others. ​Structurally, it’s slightly wider and thicker than a typical Samsung remote, making it much more comfortable to hold. The layout is very similar to the original with only minor changes, but it helpfully adds dedicated Play/Pause, Rewind, and Fast Forward buttons. Another great feature I was surprised by is that the buttons light up when pressed and stay illuminated for about 6 seconds. Highly recommend!

Having kids means messes and the possibility of things being broke, my son was playing with bubbles and put his bubbles down without the cover, it spilt and the original remote for our tv was ruined. In a bind I looked up what remotes would work and this was the one we chose. It works great the only thing that doesn’t is one of the 4 app buttons but the other 3 work fine and we’re comfortable enough with it it doesn’t bother us. Incredibly easy set up once we figured out where the “numbers” to input the tv codes were on the remote.

So easy to operate! Love that I can connect to Netflix, Prime, YouTube & Disney with one click.

Buttons feel nice. Easy setup. Would give 5 star but the lighted buttons are very dim. Only the power button lights up when other buttons pressed. Do like the one touch buttons for YT, Netflix, D+ and Prime.

So simple. It worked right out of the packaging. No complicated set up. It’s even better than the remote we lost. Double win!!!

We recently purchased a new TV for our bedroom and although the picture quality and sound are excellent the remote is awful. It has WAY to many buttons & they're configured in the most UN-USER friendly manner possible. The layout of the Philips One-Touch remote is super ergonomic! The buttons are spaced out in a comfortable way, and the backlight is very appreciated! This remote is wonderful in the dark. Pairing it to our TV required a one-button process. It comes with several TV Brand button options & you just choose your TV, That's it!! Great Choice, Great Value, and Great Product!

Works great easier than the actual original LG that came with tv. The back light feature really help to see it and functions are simple to understand.

When our original remote broke, we assumed that getting a replacement for pur relatively old TV would be a pain. I am happy to say, this remote is a ver suitable replacement. It does not have EVERY option and shortcut our original remote had for all of our Vizio televisions menus and features, but it is easy enough to find a simple path to all our favorite apps and menus. This product is not going to blow you away, but its simple but sturdy build is perfect to replace an old remote with or simplify a remote for someone who is overstimulated by some of the modern remotes with many options. All in all, a simple but very effective purchase.

Easy to set up & use even with nails. Lighted buttons make it easy to see & the size is nice. Overall good design. Bummer YouTube button doesn’t work. Other streaming buttons do conveniently work.

Very easy setup and great functionality out of the box with our Samsung TV. The remote took 30 seconds to setup and works as well as our Samsung remote that came with the TV.

Worked great after our old remote stopped working. Only issue is with a pin on our prime video account we can’t access all the numbers to input the pin. But other than that it works! Love the back light

Quality product for the price. It’s a great size & very func. I’m using it for a Sony tv and there are no issues.

just moved, lost my samsung remote, tv got into a funny mode where the input was something other than my amazon firestick which i use for pretty much everything. firestick remote wouldn't let me change inputs. bought this little baby and with one touch problem solved! once i programmed it for samsung with push of a single button, the thing even controlled my amazon firestick making that remote a third tit. i loved this so much i bought another for my older lg tv. why nobody has managed to come up with one touch programming for common tvs before is beyond my comprehension. but this remote definitely gets two thumbs up!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND open, insert batteries and press 1 button. The brand of your TV and that is it. All of my connected devices worked without having to look up any codes.

Although this was a replacement, it still works ok w/ my Samsung TV. However, the control buttons are different and I had to learn now to use it, it does serve the purpose.
