I bought these Pioneer speakers after a favorable review in Home Theater. I also have center, surround, and sub from this line. This is my second set of this 5.1 system; when we moved, the buyer of our old home insisted that the speakers be part of the sale. More than adequate for home theater use, and very reasonably priced.

I have spent some time looking for 6 ohm speakers to replace the front end of my 5.1 system, and the Pioneer set are great with any venue, music, theater, stereo and surround. This was a purchase well made.

Got them on a great deal. A little big, but work great!

If you haven't read about these Andrew Jones designed speakers, you're missing out. I bought the set for my theater room two years ago. I liked them so much, i added a second set for my living room. CNET consistently ranks them on their "best speakers under 1000 dollar" list.

Bought this pair along with the matching center channel as an upgrade to my HT system. It opened up a whole new dimension for the HT experience. Found some vocal tracks to exhibit a little bit too much sibilance (hisssy). Otherwise, they are a good neutral speaker with accurate sound reproduction. You can fill even a large room with clean sound and a moderate receiver. The cabinets will not impress your friends but, you will be happy with the aural experience.

Outstanding sound quality in a solid and inexpensive package. A bit ugly. But not too bad looking.

I love these speakers because they are slim and fit perfectly next to my entertainment center. The sound is crisp and full.

How on Earth these speakers cost as little as they do is impossible to explain. A pair of these beauties replaced circa-2001 Yamaha bookshelf speakers. Mainly used for movie watching and coupled with the Pioneer Atmos add-on modules, I am blown away and want to watch "Mad Max Fury Road" over and over. The sound is fantastic no matter the source and it doesn't hurt that they are artful technology.

Got them shipped to my house, unwrapped them, plugged in the wires and they were working. Volume is a little low but otherwise they work fine.

You can't go wrong with Pioneer products. I have had Pioneer speakers for 30 years and they are still working! These speakers paired with a good amp and eq set properly have a great rich sound. You will not be disappointed in these speakers as far as sound and appearance!

I bought two of these speakers. The are slim and sleek and look nice as part of my home theater system. I wish they were slightly taller however I do have them next to a 70 inch TV which is why the look smaller. The sound is very good.

Works well. Good sound investment well spent no need for expensive speakers as these work just as good.

Not a bad speaker for the price. I was just looking for some more volume for my TV, not something to blow the doors off. These work perfect and for the price, you cant go wrong.

Bought a pair on sale at very very low price. Its totally worth the price I paid . Crisp sound and good on bass.

These speakers sounded very nice in the mid to high ranges, especially vocals and stage presence. The bass was lacking however, and they did not sound great with my sub. The cabinets are also very large, which in the end made me decide to return them. My 25+ year old Boston Acoustics 2-way 6.5" A40's still sounded better and balanced in the lower end, and are half of the physical size. The Pioneers had a really nice sound though.

fantastic speakers for those looking for high quality sound, i use it in my 15x15 ft theater room and have yet to have an issue... It lives up to the pioneer name.

Great sound and easy to set up. Whole home theater system sounds amazing and if plays its role well
