These are great headphones. They cut out external noise and provide a sound immersive experience. Plugs in by USB.

This headset with mic sounds great and audio quality on the mic is also very good. It's hard to find better at this price point. The only thing that would make this better would be if the headset was noise canceling for the speakers. The mic is noise canceling and that works great. Unfortunately, adding active noise canceling would increase the price and I understand the trade off.

I chose this item because I know three people who own these. The price tag was a plus. The sound is crystal clear and I was actually very impressed. They are very durable and lightweight. The downside is that they are USB. They work great for all of my PC/PS3/Xbox needs!

Needed to replace a set from RocketFish, read some reviews and ended up with the Plantronics 788. Had to use the drivers updated on windows 7 as the Plantronics drivers wouldn't loaded without an error, Use primarily for gaming; awesome sound with 7.1 enabled. Can't go wrong for the $

When its late at night and you wish not to wake the wife or neighbors with zombie-killing gun blasts, don these badboys and blast away to your hearts content. The hot-buttons on the left ear are handy for volume, mute, and surround on/off. Mic is very clear, speakers sound very decent, not perfect, but for this price: A++ product.

The sound quality on this headset is really nice and microphone works well. The only negative I can really say is the placement of the microphone on the outside of the headset makes it so you have to do a lot of adjustment to bend it near your mouth to use it.

I love the sound and ability to change from surround to stereo with push of a button. I work taking phone calls and surround sound is horrible on phone calls. I need the ability to change quickly. I like that the switches are on the headset and not inline. Only problem is the cups are a little small.

I upgraded from a Turtle Beach headset that was shorting out and frankly way too tight on my head. This headset is comfortable and has great sound quality. The frame is sturdy and has a good range to swivel for your daily life, and the microphone can swivel either direction for reversible use depending on wiring preference, and is a flexible wire in rubber coating. Feels nice, sounds nice, holds up nice. This headset makes my neck sore when wearing it around my neck, but feels fine worn over the ears. This can be a bit annoying if you want to use your mic but not the headphones. They're just large comfortable ear caps, so it bunches my neck up. If that's the only flaw I can find in these, that's a good pair of headphones. Add in that I got them on sale for $30 and this is a 5 star headset for the price. At $80, I don't think I'd have bought these, but then, I probably wouldn't buy any headphones at $80. Of the other headsets I've seen in the price tier, at least, these are an excellent buy.

I got this as my first true "Gaming" headset. I found it on sale for 50% off and thought I'd snatch it up. It was not too difficult to set up, but the software/drivers were hard to obtain. In addition, I'm not sure the 7.1 Dolby surround button functions properly on my unit, possibly a software issue. I'm running Windows 10 and I'm not sure the manufacturer has support yet. Occasionally my ears will get sore from how stiff the padding on the ears is. Product has great sound quality and response from what I've seen, customer software/experience and earphone padding could use a little work

PROS: Love the 7.1 surround sound. People say they can hear me clearly through the mic. Works perfectly out of the box. CONS: Can sometimes get warm and uncomfortable after a couple hours of straight usage.

I've used some very high end headsets, at least when it comes to gaming headsets. The most expensive I'ver ever used were some Logitech G35's and those things sound amazing, the only downside was the weight holy moly were they heavy. These deliver just as good sound with like a fraction of the weight, I'm glad I grab these on sale. The rubber cord is somewhat of a turn off for some.. but the Logitech's G25 were braided and that was way worse as the cable had no flex and would often distort the cable and I'd need to cut the braid off to free the rubber cable within.

I got it as a replacement for my steel series headset and though it's not the best, its still very good for it's price. The Dolby Digital sound thing it does is really cool and sometimes makes gaming more fun

My younger children kept breaking my plastic headphones. I saw these headphones in the store and thought wow this must be very durable since they are made out of metal mostly. So far so good. We are actually buying another pair to go in my son's room.

Bought this for use with xbox but it was incompatible. It received its sound through a usb plug. I should have been more careful looking at the details. I returned it, but it was a nice headset.
