nifty little device that fills the void that Apple left when they designed 0 ports on their laptops.

This thing is just so convenient. It enables my 2019 MBP to do pretty much everything my mid 2012 model could do, just with shedding some serious weight. I love that it has an SD slot, as a photographer that makes my life so much easier. It does get hot during use though. I managed to get this for $3 and free shipping between Best Buy rewards and sales, so I really can’t complain.

Couldn’t be happier!! SD, USB A, LAN. Etc. great when you have a MacBook that only has USBC ports.

Haven’t had any problems with it and it works like it’s advertised easy to use and simple.

Easy to use with my smart phone ,PC, iPad, Nikon cameras, and is easy to attach & unattached.

I use it for usb hardrive daily. it works well. strongly suggestion for anyone who need it.

I’ve been using this adaptor with my 2018 MacBook Pro for about 10 months. It worked pretty well through many live streams - none over 2 hours, although it did get really hot. I just produced a 6 hour live stream for a major corporation and at hour 4, the device overheated and shut down the Ethernet connection. Fortunately I had another Ethernet dongle and restarted quickly. Everything else including the monitor continued to work. The one difference in my setup was that I was using a 96w power supply with it rather than my usual 87w. So caution: if you want to use it for a long, internet-intensive application, keep an eye on the heat. And I’d suggest using lower wattage power packs.

Well, it does work, but charging is incredibly slow when plugged in through this device. I can’t turn on a dead laptop at all without disconnecting it charging directly. So, using it, but was hoping using both slots would have provided more power.

Made life much easier especially when you have a MacBook.

IT is very portable and fit great with Mac and have all the required port in it.

Good value - works well with my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports). The dark grey matches the color of my MacBook. Comes with every extra port I need (HDMI, 2 USB-C, 2 USB) also has a card reader (one SD, one Micro SD), which I did not realize I needed until I did! Bought on sale, excellent value.

The Product is working well, it is easy to use. Adaptor is 'plug and play'.

I had high hopes for this all-in-one. Unfortunately, it burned me bad. It started glitching after 3-4 months. Before long the SD card reader stopped mounting SD cards for more than 3 min. At the same time, the pass-thru power would start and stop intermittently, and sometimes would require me to unplug everything and plug it back in to get power again.. I hadn't connected the dots but one of the first things to happen was when the Ethernet decided to drop a connection in the middle of a MAJOR live stream event. It dropped the connection, then decided it wasn't going to accept an assigned IP address.. and down went our event. (We had to swap over to WiFi, which is never a great option.) So now that I've seen the problems with the SD reader, the power and Ethernet, I can honestly say, STEER CLEAR!

The device is really needfull for MAC user. Easy to use and connect.
