Easy to install, upgrade firmware super fast boot times.

My hard drive crashed spectacularly so I had to get a new one. The Geek Squad guy who helped me explained why I'd like the SSD drive instead of a regular hard drive. I bought it, they installed it, and I've been pleased with it. It boots up more quickly and I feel more secure with the data not subject to something moveable.

I migrated my Windows install to the drive using EaseUS Todo Backup and it worked great. Boot speeds are quick and the drive has worked fine so far.

I was faced with a bad hard drive that had to be replaced. I asked them to explain the difference between the types of hard drives. After hearing the differences, I chose to go with the solid state drive because it ran faster and cooler, two of the biggest concerns I had. I made the best choice and am very happy I did.

I am really enjoying this ssd. I bought it to use as my boot drive for my desktop computer, my computer has never booted any where near this fast!

Before I bought this drive, I did a research about performance. I found a website that tests all kinds of products and compares different brands. Since this PNY and a SanDisk Ultra had similar test results, I bought PNY. The drive died 6 weeks after I installed it, so I called PNY customer service and they send me a new one (I had to send the dead one first) But there was no way to recover my data. I researched and found out that any SSD including the expensive Intel can die any time, so they recommend having a back up of everything on the drive.

Using for a fast external storage and my games load so much faster. I having been playing Division and my load times are much faster than my friends (15+ secs). This was very easy to set up. Plugged it in and the XBox auto recognized it. Formatted for storage and moved The Division over to it. There was nothing to it.

Purchased this to replace a traditional disc drive on my laptop PC. Install was a breeze and reloading Windows 10 was no problem. The difference between the HDD and this SSD, SSD has a much faster response rates when opening files and running programs.

I got this on sale and is perfect size for loading specific items you want, such as Windows OS, Office and other applications you use on a daily basis. It can hold a few video games, but would not recommend it unless it's the only video game you play, as you will severely limit the size of the drive with items like that.

The 2nd generation SSD from PNY. Excellent performance versus price ratio. Added the 3 year warranty and the bundled Acronis software only makes it sweater! Only thing missing...(and hey, can't really complain since on sale for $39.99) are the interface cable (In case you need to migrated your OS) and the mounting screws.
