This SSD is very fast and the price is affordable.

Very easy to install needed a little help setting it up in Windows. Use it for games now but in future will install Windows on it to boot fast.

Bought this to back up data on my daughters' laptops before taking them to Geek Squad for service. It was very easy to use and seemed plenty fast.

I was a bit sceptical before purchase. I must admit I'm a die hard Samsung SSD fan. But for the money I had to try it, and it's awesome! Very fast and consistent. I run pro audio software on it which constantly reads and writes on it. Been great!

I had heard good things about the speed and storage ability if a SSD, one of my gaming friends has a 1TB SSD for his computer. I just went the 240 Gig route and cloned my C drive... Windows 10 was already fast loading but now loads even faster.

My HP laptop drive was giving me warning of failure so I up-graded to this SSD...used free cloning software online - Macrium...you will need cloning hub(connector)...after it was cloned, it brought new life to my laptop. Highly recommended....if you're not tech savy - you can have Geek squad to install it for you.

The performance of the drive is suitable for my needs. The price was terrific, and with a copy of Acronis just makes a great deal even better.

If your laptop has a standard spinning hard drive, replace it with an SSD and it like getting a new computer. The PNY drives come with a code to download the needed cloning software and if your old drive was still running and not corrupted it is usually simple to do if you have some jewelers screwdrivers.

This ssd was on sale and replaced an older 120gb sandisk MLC ssd and surprisingly this drive booted my laptop quicker though it uses TLC flash. The sandisk drive was average at best but to see this drive perform well with the TLC vs MLC flash shows TLC is not bad at all if you can get a good deal on it.

This is not only a fast and reliable SSD, but it comes at a fantastic price! I just wish it had built-in encryption...

comes with Acronis software,although limited,but enough to get it partitioned.Fast ,quite replacement for my wife damaged laptop hd.and much lighter in weight, also very thin ,so much so that they give you a spacer so it will fit snug in 2.5 mounting such as in a laptop.overall great price for a good brand.

I am in the computer and electronics field, and I can vouch for this SSD. It came with instructions for those who don't know how to install, as well as, a download for software to copy your old hard drive. It runs fast, not any noticeable difference compared to performance SSDs, but costs way lower.

Most users will not notice the difference between this SSD and a higher end one like the Samsung Evo. Warranties may be different, but unless you are downloading a ton of movies everyday (which you should really be putting on a hard drive instead) you won't need anything more than this level of SSD.

Basic modern SSD that gets the job done. Makes the old laptop quieter, faster and extends battery life. What more does it need to do?

I replaced my original HD because it was making a clicking sound and giving me errors. I had never replaced a hard drive before, but by watching a few videos, it looked simple enough. I was able to mirror my old system to this HD. Now the laptop boots and responds much quicker than before.

Bought this ssd drive on sale a few months back for a friend, after installing it and realizing how quick it was , i bought another for myself, it also comes with acronis a Drive Replicating Software, u just need a usb sata adapter, easy to use...so fat so good , faster than my samsung evo

I replaced the SATA drive on my mac pro with the Solid State Drive and the wait time for startup was slashed dramatically. From minutes to seconds. It's bog enough to store often used applications and I was still able to keep the original drive for storage. Very happy with performance.

This is my 2nd PNY SSD purchased from Best Buy to replace the 2nd laptop using a Hard Drive. Will be buying the 450 GB next for my desktop. Read up to 560 MB per seconds. Write up to 420 MB per second. 2,000,000 hours life. All this for $53. Very good replacement for any Hard Drive.

Got a good price for this to use as a start up drive. So far it works as advertised, been using it only about a month though.

It's a solid state drive- much faster than the traditional hard drives. Turned an old computer from unusable to like new. It still won't be as fast as a new hard drive (installed in a macbook pro from 2012) because other things are just not as fast as new. But it can bring it into new life.
