The best-kept secret about SSD's is that they all have pretty similar performance. Find one that has the storage you need at the price you want - this one fits the bill and works great.

If you are thinking about a new computer you might try want to consider just upgrading to solid state drive. I have installed these all of my computers and several for my friends. At least 5 times faster in all cases. On some as much as 10x.

Happy with my purchase. Did the research for ssd card and was stuck between this and samsung. This was on sale for an amazing price so that even made it better. Does the job. Gamimg computer starts up within second and gives me more space to save.

Wanted a ssd hard drive and saw this one on sale I took my old one out by watching a YouTube video and installed this one in about 30 minutes. It made my old MacBook much faster and I'm running the latest os sierra, I also installed 4 gb ram

I replaced my hdd, with this one, now boot windows 10 tokk 3 secs, and shutdown 3 secss too, applications are faster. The only problem is sometimes my laptop freeze by a 5 or 6 seconds, I'm not sure it is realated to the new disk or something more.

Purchased this to replace the conventional drive in my HP. Works best when doing a fresh install from flash drive. The drive image software doesn't seem to work. Plus with fresh install all the OS HP bloat is gone, boots and runs much faster.

Needed a new hard drive fast, and Best Buy did not disappoint. Item was readily available and easy to install. Super fast--what an improvement over the old one! Do yourself a favor: replace the old, outmoded, and worn out one with this one.

I bought this to upgrade my old MacBook Pro and it was extremely easy to do. I had everything backed up on Apple's Time Machine and the re-install was a piece of cake. No problems with the SSD and it's been woking fine ever since.

This is my second PNY ssd i've bought already they have good read and write speeds. i remove all mechanical drives and drop these in my customers computers and they are very happy with the speed of boot up shut down and accessing data.

Noticeable improvement over hard drives. My laptops start up time is almost instant. Be cautious with the limited space though, I keep pictures and such things on external drives so smaller storage was not and issue with my application.

Is your desktop or laptop running slow? This SSD is the perfect economical way to improve performance. I have used in both desktops and laptops. You do not need an adapter if using in a desktop. Just set into the CD frame bay or on the bottom of the case. I have seen computer start up time go from almost 2 minutes to less than 30 seconds. The 240gb drive is more than enough space for most PC users. Highly recommended.

This SSD is excellent and just the right amount of space for a laptop to get everything done. going on 2 years of ownership with it and it has been flashed a few times and used in multiple laptops. Still running strong.

Not a bad solid state drive with decent load times for gaming, just wish they would come down on the price as this technology has been out now for a number of years. If you are one for transferring large ISO files or games I would suggest you look for a more premium type SSD. It's not the fastest HDD out there, but overall it has significantly faster performance then current HDD load and transfer times.

I bought two, placed in my ASUS gaming laptop in RAID. Now it is difficult to exercise my patience on any older machines. SSD price drops have gotten to the point that it is silly to bypass this speed and system efficiency.

I have been using PNY SSD drives in a law office. They boot fast (15 seconds and some are way less). Not a single issue. Just as well as the Samsung brand. I use these in my computers at home. Very durable and reliable.

Needed another ssd drive to do a clean Win10 install on my desktop pc, while saving the original ssd drive that had win81 on it as an archive. Win10 boots fast and system runs like a top with this drive. Pny makes quality products.
