Bought this for my budget PC build. I bought this because the price was reasonable and reviews were positive. Using it as my boot drive and so far so good. No issues and works great! My PC boots really fast. Looking to purchase a larger capacity SSD for my PS4 pro. Thanks PNY!

I purchased this drive for a new gaming computer. I had to be sure that it was the only drive installed in the box before the Windows install would find and access it. After that the installation was flawless and the drive is really fast. Great choice for the money.

Couldn't be happier with the performance of this unit for the price. Works well as replacement for a laptop, or reuse your platter disk in your desktop as a data disk and drop this one in as the system. Also worked with no problems with both windows and linux.

I installed in laptop and desktop, the speed change is amazing, now my MS windows boot up in 12 seconds!! If you need it for a desktop you have to figure it out how to install it in your case, because this SSD does not come with a 3.5" adapter.

Does what I need it to. Bought it because I have had good luck with PNY products. There based out of New York and have pretty good customer service. The only thing I didn't care for was the acronis software, it's not very easy to figure out.

This drive is quick and so far reliable. I installed it in a Dell desktop as a second drive and it has worked well so far. Solid state drives do not usually lady as long as traditional drives but the speed more than makes up for it.

I thought I must be missing something when I saw the price on this. I thought I was reading the specs wrong. I have used PNY hard drives in the past and they have always lasted and not given me problems. I double and triple checked and researched this SSD online and I bought it cause it was a steal for the size and speed. I replaced my HDD in my new laptop with the PNY SSD and the research I did was right. This thing blazes! The specs on performance for any SSD of this speed are aprox over 300% faster than a HDD. My laptop boots in 3 seconds now. Gaming is hitchless. Large programs run and open quick. File transfers are lightening. If you don't have an SSD get one, you'll be very happy you did. PNY has good solid ones too for good deals. I'll be taking advantage of more of these for sure.

The drive was easy to install. Bought it as the original hard drive was a bit slow and was worried that it might fail. This was a great replacement and a significant upgrade in terms of speed. Well worth the money.

PNY ssds are not the very fastest but will, nevertheless, provide a remarkable improvement in performance at a very reasonable price. I've also found them to be compatible with older Macs that arent happy with Sandisk ssds.

I installed it in an old MacBook Late 2009 Model. Formatted and installed MacOS Sierra. Now the slow old laptop is acting spry and fast again. It's true what they say about an SSD HD. It brings new life to old equipment.

Got this drive to upgrade a basic spec Toshiba laptop. You really can't pass up a quality PNY drive on sale (240GB for ~$49) So far, it has been great. Enjoying the speed boost from have a SSD vs traditional spinning drives.

This drive is the best way to bring life to an older PC. Especially useful for laptop upgrades. PC is at least 10 times faster. As there are no moving parts, the battery lasts much longer and does not heat up as much.
