IN THE PAST I AVOIDED THIS BRAND. BUT THE PRICE WAS GOOD SO I GAVE IT A TRY. ITEM WORKS AS GOOD AS OTHER BRANDS I HAVE PURCHASED. NO PROBLEMS ... GO FOR IT.

My hard drive was beginning to fail so I decided to get an SSD this time instead of a regular hard drive. Boot time is great, faster than I've ever seen on my system and programs have a great response time.

I purchased this drive to replace a failing HDD in my laptop. The performance is a night and day difference from the original HDD. Installation on my Dell Latitude D6430 was easy, and I've had no problems since.

Needed a new hard drive on an older desktop to use as a media center pc. The boot up speed is much faster and the performance is better than ever. The free cloning software was a nice bonus and worked great.

Money matters! I've purchased several of these PNY SSD's because of the price/performance vs. other brands. You can't go wrong with an SSD and PNY has yet to disappoint. Definitely my go to SSD every time.

This was the best drive that was in stock, and I have had good experiences with similar PNY drives in the past. So far I am very pleased with it and have had no issues. It has is not in my primary desktop, so it only gets a few hours of use a week, but startup time is great, and my applications launch quick as well.

Purchased this drive for an old 2nd gen i5 desktop. Easy installation and setup. Works great! A huge improvement above my old mechanical drives. I'll be purchasing another one soon for a different PC!

When installed on a computer, this storage device retains data you put on it. It will also relinquish said data when inputting the proper commands to do so. Two of the most important things I look for in a data storage device. At least as important as those things are, this item allows for retrieving that data many times over. Indeed a highly desireable attribute. This device does all this quite quickly as well. I would like to note that if you purchase a data storage device that doesn't at least store your data, I'd suggest returning it.

I bought this to reinstall Windows 10 on a not-brand-new computer (4 or 5 yrs old), and doings so has made the computer much faster, especially on boot-up and as a mostly-internet access point.

I bought this to replace the bad hard drive in my son's laptop, this is the quickest way to make an older/slower laptop or even desktop faster. I use SSD drives in all of my computers.

Built a new system, bought this drive to load the operating system on - machine boots in less than 20 seconds with Windows 8.1. Great drive, I have always had good luck with PNY products.

I have only been running it a week, but I can see the difference with an SSD. It was recommended by pick-a-part as part of a new build. It boots and runs programs very quickly.

Best ever - lightning fast, easy to install. What else is there to say? It does what it's supposed to do, as described. Windows boot has gone from minutes to seconds.

My laptop was virtually unusable. Lenovo i3. Disk usage was constantly pegged and it took sooooo long to boot. I backed up my important files and wiped it clean with a fresh Windows install on this new SSD and it has been transformed. Windows 10 has never run so fast and booted so fast. Extremely pleased. I have had no issues with the drive itself. Note: I turned off MSI in Windows to resolve an issue after installing the new drive. I was seeing 100% disk utilization even after the fresh Windows install at first. Search Microsoft's knowledge Article ID: 3083595 for more info. This is not a hard drive issue itself.

Very good SSD Drive. PNY has good support page for the product. Installed Windows 10 on it and works flawless. SSD price from PNY is also good. would recommend you try it.

Bought for my son's PC that runs Ubuntu Linux. Did not have any problems installing the operating system and getting the PC fully functional. It's really fast now too.
