    Good drive for SATA replacement or as a back up drive. You will need to initialize and format and partition if not installing an operating system from some form of media.

    This is my 2nd PNY SSD that died on me a little of a year of owning. Did nothing abnormal. Went to power up and got the blue screen of death then the "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" error. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE PNY BRAND! Hopefully I can recover what was lost but last time I was unable to so I'm not expecting much.

    Seems to work, but support is miserable: no instructions provided on formatting. If you are not familiar with installing SSDs consider WD - they have an easy tool for their SSDs

    I bought this drive for my son to install in his brand new Dell PC as expended storage for backups and large games. It failed within a year and was full of stuff he didn't want to lose. Ne er again.
