A series that beloved for its quality gameplay and quirky characters. Breath of the Wild takes what the series has done for decades and turns it upside down introducing innovative and refined and near limitless gameplay, exploring, and dungeon crawling. This is a master piece of a game.

This is one of the few games that lives up to its praise. Wow. This is probably the most challenging Zelda game in the series and the most immersive. They did an amazing job with creating an open world game that fits perfectly with the theme of the legend of Zelda. The combat actually takes practice and a bit of strategy. I can’t just ambush a group of enemies without a plan. I love the stealth elements, the weapons system and the infinite side quests. This game is a great because I have to earn the upgrades and search a large world for them, not just collect them on a linear path. This may be the only game I play for the next few months because there’s so much content. If you’re on edge about getting this game, just get it.

Play as Link in an open world adventure to save Hyrule after he awakens from a 100 year slumber. Lots of weapons available to use, many puzzles to solve, and other cool new game mechanics were introduced. It's hard to put this game down, but that's okay since you can take it to go on the Switch.

This game is the main reason I bought a Switch. The environment is stunning, the gameplay is polished, the story is magnificent. I haven't put this game down since I got it and I'm still putting off finishing the game because I don't want it to end. This is easily the best game of the year.

This is one of the best games you can get for the switch, as the story is a typical Zelda masterpiece, the graphics have been pushed to the limit, and it always feels very rewarding. 9/10

I'm not a huge fan of open-world games, and Breath of the Wild is unfortunately no exception. That being said, I do love the art design they went with and the story has been pretty enjoyable. I prefer the old formula for Zelda games, but there's plenty of things to do despite how scattered it all is. I think it just came out at the wrong time for me because I had already experienced something similar with Horizon: Zero Dawn. I also think Horizon was the better game between the two. I do love the amount of ways you can take down enemies in Breath of the Wild though. It's a fun game to experiment with for sure.

This is an excellent Legend of Zelda game. What it lacks in the longer dungeons of classic nintendo game it makes up for in the sheer size and quality of the smaller Shrines and the medium sized Divine Beasts. I would highly recommend this title to any Zelda fan and any gamer in general.

It was one o the first games I bought for my switch, and I really love it! It's a beautiful game with plenty of stuff to explore and fight. I kinda miss the bigger dungeons of the earlier games, but there's plenty of other puzzles, enemies, and things to do.

So much to do, yet so much time... And in that mass amount of time i've got to donate to this game, i've barely scratched the surface! This open world Zelda game is breathtaking. Best in the series, hands down. It's truly open world; you can climb anything you see, and go anywhere you want, at any time you want. So many collectibles and things to do on the side! Well over 900 Korok seeds to collect to expand your inventory, each with their own little Zelda-esque puzzle. The only downside are the dungeons. There are literally only 4, 5 if you count the castle, though if you count the 100+ shrines with their mini puzzles, there are a lot more. There isn't much action in the dungeons, just a bit of problem solving, which for me is a downer. I also am not very fond of the dungeon bosses. They are mech looking things that aren't very unique like the older Zelda bosses which truly were. This doesn't stop the game from being magnificent. I highly recommend.

This game will have you sitting on the couch for an endless amount of hours. For the very beginning of the game, you'll be mesmerized by the open world concept and beautiful video graphics. The game is challenging and provides a lot of problem solving puzzles and quests. I love this game!

The story seemed okay, the ending kinda meh. The animation, graphics, effects were all amazing, despite the few instances where the game experienced some latency. Breath of the Wild offers a huge world and tons of exploration.

AMAZING GAME!
I love Zelda. This game is so amazing, and it's just wonderful to play. I love discovering all of the secrets and just running around in the world. I'm so in awe, and I'm still playing it 100 hours in. If you haven't bought this yet, what are you waiting for?

This game is amazing on the switch! It is somewhat like dark souls in terms of the weapons breaking, but unlike other Zeldas health is abundant, horse riding is much improved from twilight princess, and he open world is amazing and beautiful and fun to explore! Must have title for the switch

This game is fantastic!! Beautiful open world, great leveling, expansive individual areas, fun combat. Altogether, it's a fantastic game although it does run better in handheld mode with some framerate drops in docked mode. Either way, it doesn't matter due to the quality of the game itself.

I can't say enough about this game. I've been playing for more than 30 hours and I still haven't seen the whole map. This game has more content than any I've played in the past. Sleep deprivation is setting in but I don't care. I still stay up playing.
The shrine puzzles vary. Some are simple, some are challenging and some feel like just plan luck to get through. The AI in this game is great in some situations but questionable in others. It doesn't take away from the game for me. It's still a joy to keep throwing bombs over a rock and watch the enemies wonder where it came from, just to detonate the bomb as they come to investigate.
The physics of this game are spot on. If you hold metal when a thunderstorm comes, you get electrocuted. If you hold something wooden and get near a fire, the object starts on fire and then you can use the fire to start other things on fire, like enemies.
Overall, this has to be one of the best games I've ever played and I've gaming since the early 80's.

Loved this game! I had to get my own copy cause I'd been using my roommates copy on his switch before I got mine. Exploration in the game is great, the combat and story were wonderful! Love the Legend of Zelda!
